Your average high class hotel. Very nice staff, great food at the restaurant. The room was quite comfortable and clean, but just a standard hotel room. The restaurant prices are a bit on the high side, but that is to be expected at a high end hotel.

Couldn't have asked for a better experience! Everything from the service to the ambience was top notch!

This hotel was quiet and had the most comfortable beds. Also, there was a lot of light available,so reading was possible after dark. Lately, hotels seem to have no good lighting and this was an exception.

The Dearborn Hyatt fulfilled all our needs. It was centrally located for all our activitie.

Hotel was nice. Not many choices to eat in the area besides the mall.

Great location for tourist, just minutes from the Henry Ford museum. Rooms are clean and quiet. They also have a beautiful garden

The only thing that needs to change is that they charge for breakfast. Most hotels have a free breakfast for their guest. Alot of travelers look for that when booking hotels. Otherwise than that we had everything that we needed.

Don't compare it to a regular Marriott, but for what it is…it was just fine. Location is safe and very suburban. It has a park like setting and a nice main outdoor patio with a gas BBQ for guests use and the staff cleans the BBQ whenever you need. I had a studio room which had a comfortable queen bed, nice hide-away couch and chair, coffee table, a 27" TV, small but very functional full kitchen with plates, silverware, pots and pans. Also had a small table and a clean bathroom with a good showerhead. Access to the highways is very easy and traffic was not an issue no matter what time of day I drove. There is a shopping center just a little ways away that has a Wal-Mart, Home Depot (or Lowes?), Office Max, Boston Market and some other shops. The grocery is not too far away, but for what I wanted Wal-Mart Supercenter was ok. Do expect ethnic diversity in Wal-Mart, but everyone is very friendly. Things I didn't like: They just installed wireless internet and it is spotty at best. They say they are working on this, but as a business traveler that aspect was tough. I could get the internet most of the time, but the connection was not strong enough for my VPN. I'd make sure they have this issue solved before staying again. Only other complaint was the strange smells in the hallways. There is a lot of ethnic diversity at this location and therefore quite a bit of unique cooking styles. I assume the odor was related to the food…..I hope. The smell was not present in my room however so it was tolerable. Price was very reasonable especially if you plan to cook most of your meals or pack a lunch and service was amazing. Everyone I meet in MI was very friendly; and you can't say that about too many places. Meet some interesting fellow business travelers and some had been staying there for several months. Most were very pleased with everything but the internet.

Internet didn't work, queen size mattress on a full-size box spring, shower sprayed all over bathroom, entire building smelled from smoke. Good desk people and neat car in lobby. Hotel is not a 2-star.

Rooms were great - service excellent and historical nature of the hotel wonderful. This is a first class restoration job for a hotel that is approaching 100 years old!

Staff was great. Meeting facilities were very nice. Restaurant was delicious.

It's perhaps unfair to characterize Extended Stay America in Dearborn Michigan as so unsatisfactory regarding dining options and amenities. The hotel does not have a restaurant, and in its role as an extended stay hotel for travelers it presumes that guests will bring their own shampoo and other toiletries. Nevertheless, how much can a couple of tiny bottles of shampoo and hair conditioner cost when purchased in bulk? The location on Town Center Drive was great. I was attending a two day professional conference at the Hyatt, also on Town Center Drive just three minutes away. I stayed two nights at Extended Stay America, and was surprised to learn that maid service would require an additional charge. I chose not to incur that extra charge. My room was clean, neat, and well maintained and it was no great chore to make my own bed in the morning. Depending on one's specific needs, I would recommend Extended Stay America in Dearborn to anyone who plans to stay for a week or more.

Check in was quick, room signs easy to read. Room was basic and very clean. I was pleased with location it was easy to get where we needed to go.

For a 2 Star Hotel, it is well worth the money. Room was clean and comfortable.
