Great Couples Getaway/ Guys or Girls Weekend Out
The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location is ideal...you can gamble and catch a show. Also, there are several restaurants where you can eat and all this is in one place. Let's not forget the dance club or the spa. The only thing missing is when I did relax in my room there was no guide to let you know what I was watching, sounds minor I know, but most people want to know that answer. Other hotels I've stayed in have not faired as well as this one. Now keep in mind they were not a casino/hotel, so I can't hold that against them. You did have to leave out to go dancing. While the couple of restaurants they did have had great food, there was not a lot of variety. Nor was there anything to do in the hotel itself other than watch tv, go to the spa, or entertain yourselves. That is why I know I'll visit this casino/hotel in the future.

Tigers Game
Staying here was nice. The only drawback here is they do not offer shuttle service on game days to and from Comerica park. It is over a mile walk and taxi service in Detroit is not always easy. Overall a good value and a fun place to stay.

Girls night
it was very nice and clean. But we got the room on a thursday night, so there were many executive people on our floor who were complaining about us having the tv on, which was not loud.

Nothing Special
I was excited to stay at Motorcity Hotel as it was the only casino hotel in Detroit that I had yet to stay at. I was very disappointed! The hotel is in a bad neighborhood, the lobby/entrance is hidden on the second floor of the parking garage, and the main reason I went is for the restaurant Iridescence which is closed on Monday and Tuesday!! The furniture in the room was all scratched up and there was a stain on the chair. I would never stay at this hotel again but I WILL go back to Greektown Casino Hotel!

Great service
I stayed at the motor city casino hotel for 3 nights and I was very impressed with the service and everything else about the hotel. I stayed in a king room on the executive level 14th floor. The room was immaculate with a beautiful view of the Detroit skyline. The hotel staff was very friendly from the moment we arrived to the time we left . I felt very safe and comfortable throughout my stay! Kudos to the wonderful Staff, from the bell boy to housekeeping! An added plus was the restaurant on the 16th floor! The food was to nothing short from exceptional! AAA diamond rating and truly deserving of it!
