Comfortable 2 queen beds. Room was clean and smelled good. Friendly staff. Good nites sleep. Breakfast buffet was reasonable @ $10. Should be included. No real issues. One of 3 CFL bulbs in the bathroom fixture was out. My wife said the tub floor was slippery. I noticed it when I stepped out. All in all, just fine. Another reviewer mentioned no exhaust fan in the bath. I saw a vent but no fan. Leave the door open.

Concert Trip
The Clarion Hotel was very clean and comfortable. There was a little remodeling going on in the lobby but nothing disruptive. The room wasn't huge but it was very clean and comfortable and it was tastefully decorated. There are only a couple of average restaurants close by but the hotel was convient to our activities while at Kalamazoo. Nice stay.

Nice place
Very very nice hotel. However, their pool was "under construction". So I had to go across the parking lot if I wanted to swim. But other than that, it was nice. And also, my floor was non smoking, but it smelled like a stale ash tray. But the room didn't.

Very, very nice hotel!
This hotel was VERY nice. The room was VERY nice, restful, quiet, big TV. The best part was the shower. It was absolutely awesome! I'd stay again just for that!

very poor experience
We were very disappointed with our experience at this hotel. There was only one chair at the desk with an open area where there should have been at least one more chair. The bathtub drain did not work properly, and the drawer in the bathroom pulled all the way out and dropped on my foot. There should have been something to prevent that from happening, as the hotel staff agreed.[...] Because of this experience, we will not stay at this hotel (or chain) [...] again.

The Great Getaway
My son and I were traveling through Michigan and stayed one night at the Kalamazoo location. The hotel was very easy to find (right off the interstate). I was wanting a hotel with a pool but this Clarion did not have one. When we got there we were informed that the Holiday Inn Express' (which was right next door) pool was available for our use (as was their weight room) but because we did not know that ahead of time we did not pack our swim suits. The staff was friendly and the stay was very quiet. One inconvenience was the ice and vending machines were located only on the first floor opposite end of the lobby but it was posted and the staff did inform us of that so we weren't just wandering around looking for it. I would definitely use this location again but take my swim suit next time!

The hotel was very close to areas we were visiting and there were lots of restaurants to choose from close by, not to mention a McDonald's in the same parking area as the hotel.

The room was nice and newly renovated. We had goup of family that stayed at same time and had very nice one night stay. We ate in the restaurant which wasn't very busy. Food was not bad and continental breakfast was included.
