Road noise is a minus on the third floor
Staff were great. Road noise only problem esp. if you desire fresh air.

Good location for business in Sprinkle R
I stay for 3 weeks for servicing Medical Devices comppany. The aisle carperts are stained giving a bad & sad impression. Room was OK with king bed & free internet service. Location was the best because wa close to client site, close to airport (10 mins drive) and close te several restaurants (Perkins, Dennys, Bennuci, Burger King, Godfather Pizza, Mc Donalds, Wendys, others)

In downtown Kalamazoo there is Kalamazoo Plaza that is a street with nice restaurants & shoppes. It is closed for cars and is clean, neat and nice to walk. It takes you to a small park with a creek crossing through it.

I was attending the drag races in Midland that involved a Friday and Saturday night stay. It was a little more money than I planned to spend; however, reading the other reviews, I didn't want the dirt or the bugs that came with the cheaper places. I am also sick of the drunken wedding guests that always seem to be hollering up and down the halls all Saturday night. None of this. Friendly staff, clean rooms, quiet easy on off the Interstate, free WiFi that actually works!. Easily recommend to friends, family and business travelers.

nice hotel
It's a nice, modern building, very comfortable, with a nice staff. The location was rather plain and industrial, and wasn't all that close to restaurants, etc. But it was easy to get directions from the staff. The wireless internet worked well. It would have been nice to have a restaurant on the premises when we arrived exhausted at dinnertime. We didn't get a chance to use the pool, fitness room, or to have breakfast, so I can't comment on them.

Poor maintenance - hanging wall paper and poorly vacuumed floors. Staff very helpful. Breakfast choices good. No local newspapers available on site.

Clean & Comfortable
The Holiday Inn Express was clean and comfortable. Staff was very accomodating. There was a good coffee shop(Perkins)within walking distance and the hotel is near the freeway. A self-serve breakfast area was welcome the morning I was in a hurry to leave. The only two drawbacks were that the Kalamazoo downtown is miles away and that my room on the 3rd floor of the hotel was quite warm and the room air conditioning was noisy. Still, this is a good place to stay.
