This pet friendly Magnuson Hotels affiliate is located near Michigan State University, Michigan State Capitol, GM Grand River Assembly Plant, Lansing Center, Woldumar Nature Center, Lake Lansing, Funtyme Adventure Parks and Ingham County Fairgrounds. The Magnuson Hotel Lansing offers guests a free Continental breakfast served from 6:00 am to 10:00 am, fitness room, free high-speed wireless Internet access, guest laundry, business center, meeting facilities, free parking with room for large vehicles and a wakeup service. Small pets are accepted with additional charges. Guest rooms offer cable TV with extra stations, free high speed wireless internet access, hair dryer, free local calls, air conditioning, alarm clock/radio, iron/board and electronic door locks. Most horrible experience ever

Well, if you are looking for a great place shooting thriller movie, this is a good choice! The hotel is located in middle of nowhere with extremely hard to find signs (BTW, if you are looking for Magnuson, you will never find it - look for something as DAD's INN). The hotel should definitely be grouped as a 60' motel with dirty environment and almost no service at all. Internet is not in existence!!! The front desk is honestly helpless and inflexible........needless to say they rip off all your money 24 hours before hand so that if you regret as we did, you still pay the full amount with cancellation. My suggestion is that if you really want the torture, try book day by day in separate reservation so that you will have chance to cancel the rest of days (which for sure will happen).

A good place to spend the night as we passed through

Friendly staff, clean rooms convenient to the interstate, only ten minutes from MSU; seems they are in the process of renovating a once-run-down property and doing a good job of it. I would recommend them to travelers
