Holiday Inn MARQUETTE

We came up to Marquette to visit our son who is attending Northern. The cost this year was double to what it was last year. The onsite restaurant is nice but again...prices are a little high. The cleanliness was very good and the staff was very attentive. The beds are extraordinarily hard and we had difficulty sleeping on them. Access off M-41 is easy on and off and close to downtown. We would book this hotel again but only if the prices come back down to reasonable. This time we had no other choice for a two day stay. All other hotels were booked for the weekend.

Close enough to downtown and the school. Food places are nearby. Staff is very pleasant and helpful. Rooms are a little crowded but very clean.The price was a bit high considering the location. We'd go back.

The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The kids loved the pool and the location was pretty good.

My sister and I were doing genealogy research and stayed here July 28-30, 2011. I booked late, and this one was one of a few hotels with vacancies. We paid $289 for two nights in a room with 2 double beds. The door and entrance area to our part of the hotel were very dirty and did not seem to lock at night. The tub and inner shower curtain were fairly stained with dirt. The bed linens were very nice; the bathroom was average. The breakfast food in the restaurant was hot, tasty and a good value, although, for $145 a night, I think some sort of breakfast should be included. Overall, the hotel seemed dated. I would try to not stay here next time I go to Marquette.

Full service hotel - needed to type and print remarks for a funeral service and computer and printer available in Business Room. Also love the food.

Took my son to college, this location was close to a lot of different things. The pool and hot tub were very nice. The staff that we dealt with were fantastic. Stay 3 nights thought we would have a refrigerator in the room, they had some available and we went on a waiting list to get one, but never did. Also no microwave available and only ice and soda available through vending on our floor. We ate one breakfast at the hotel and was not worth the money. Would not eat there again.

the room was clean, the staff at the hotel were very friendly. Very friendly bartender in the lounge, only bad experience was the restaurant waiter- served me fast then forgot about me. Had to ask for my bill from someone else. Everywhere else service was great, pool was nice, great place to stay

The restaurant was very busy on a busy summer week end, so I couldn't have brunch without missing my plane. The only other complaint is that the drinks and ice machines outside my room rattled and clanked all night.

The staff was very friendly, including when I couldn't get into the fitness center due to it being locked out. I had already made two trips to the front desk when another staff member then personally went to find the specific person needed to open it up for me. The room was clean and the beds/pillows very comfortable. The hot tub and dry sauna were the best for relaxing. The complaints I have were that the coffee pot and glasses weren't out in the main room, they were placed in the bathroom, that there was no continental breakfast and the room was a little pricey for what it had to offer.

This is a very nice hotel. We had stayed there last year and had a great experience so returned again this year.
