We had a great stay. The room was clean, beds were very comfortable, the kids had a terrific time in the pool area. The staff was very friendly and we had a really nice hot breakfast there. I would recommend this hotel.

We golfed while there and went out at night. I can't think of anything that would have made my stay more enjoyable. It was pretty good in terms of previous trips I have taken.

we were on a 3 day shopping trip - all the stores we were interested in were located close to the hotel. We liked our room, the location of our room and thoroughly enjoyed the hottub after a full day of shopping. would really have preferred china mugs for our coffee but it wouldn't deter us from staying here again

Hotel was in a very nice area of Saginaw and easy access to the highway. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was also great for a hotel! I would definitely bring my family back to this hotel.

Frankenmuth hotels were full for the weekend we were planning on going away so we looked around and found this place.
The hotel was clean with a modern deco, the staff were friendly and helpful and the location was convenient - a great deal for the money!

We are conveniently located just off of I-675 and only a few miles from I-75, near Hemlock Semiconductor, Nexteer, Delphi, GM, GlobalWatt, St. Marys & Covenant Hospitals, SVSU College is only 2 miles away, Dow Event Center, Saginaw Childrens Museum, Saginaw Childrens Zoo, Haithco Park, and Fashion Square mall is across the street,, Replacement of hallway carpet and wall vinyl January 22-31, 2012. Work hours 9am-5pm daily to expedite completion of work. Minimal disruption expected, but work may be noticeable.

Stayed here for shopping trip....great location. Close to great mall, many great stores, good restaurants. Birch Run outlets are about 20 minute drive. Decent breakfast, nice pool and hot tub. Clean, newly renovated rooms. Researched prices...[@] had the best price.

Overall, the hotel was very nice, and the people that worked there were great. However, if you are handicapped, it is somewhat lacking. There is an elevator located near the lobby, but the hike to the breakfast and dining area is a long one down narrow hallways. There are absolutely NO handicapped parking spaces (there is one at the bar entrance on the other side of the building), so if the hotel is quite full, good luck.

This is a very small hotel with small rooms, but inside the room is very clean. You are able to park your car right outside your room, which I found charming. The breakfast bar only consists of one type of bagel(plain), and two cereals. No coffee nor juice. But there is a coffee maker in the room.

Hotel is old and needs remodeling, rooms where clean, hot tub was not working. Halls are very dark and the floor was slippery on the elevator from people get in and out of the pool.

The overall stay was nice. The rooms were clean and well kept. The room had good sound insulation which was great for sleeping. the shower was very nice. I did have 2 things to complain about. The first was it was very difficult to find the road to get to the hotel, i had to drive the wrong way down a one way street. the second on check out i need a reciept so the VA would reimberse my hotel stay. The staff refused to print me one saying since i booked via the internet they would have to get me the reciept. The VA will not take the reciept from my email only from the hotel. So becuase the staff either could not or would not print the reciept i am out $48 of my hotel stay.

Quiet, clean, and reasonable. 4 of us stayed in one room, we needed extra towels and they were sent up soon after being asked for. Used the exercise room, it was small but no one else was in there. Only thing we missed was an indoor pool and jacuzzi.

Very average, older hotel (think: a basic place in the 70's, similar in spirit to small mom & pop places in Myrtle Beach, Panama City, etc.) its clean and cheap. Good restaurants and bars nearby, only hotel thats is near (walking distance) horizions center. Its also the only hotel in Saginaw Twp, outside of the mall corridor.
While I would probably not stay there again(unless there were no other options)if you were captive, and HAD to stay nearby... it would be OK. But if you have a car, your better off at the hotels by the mall (more shopping, dining, entertainment options).

I have stayed at many Hamipton Inns. This one is new but I couldn't get comfortable in bed. The mattress was horrible!! All other Hamptons I have stayed in have the foam type mattresses. Those beds are so comfortable and that was why I thought I would stay at a Hampton again. I found out however, this hotel is using cheap mattresses. We couldn't really enjoy the pool either because the water was much to cold. I will not be back. It was also over priced. I'd like my money back.

My daughter broke out in a rash within 2 hours of being in the room. My daughter is allegic to "Outst" spray and think they might have used it in the room. Room was clean but do not think that I would stay there again. We will be in the area from time to time as my daughter is attending SVSU.

this is a very very nice hotel, i spend most of my time here on weekends, the staff and owners are always pleasent, and helpfull. the beds are comfortable, and i feel refreshed every weekend when i stay. would recommend this to anyone who wants a nice relaxing place to stay

The floor was not vaccuumed previously to our arrival. The blankets were worn and dingy. Their were ants in the bathroom. No alarm clock or wall clock. No shampoo. Glad their was wi-fi. Price was decent.

I had the misfortune to stay for one night on two different nights. The rooms smelled either strongly of cigarette smoke or just stale. I also removed dead cockraoches from the bathroom floor both times. I would not "leave the light on for you" at this hotel.
