Nice view
I requested a handicap room for my mom and i to share. We were delighted to see the room! First of all, the view was outstanding! We had a full view of the bay. The room was huge with a bistro table and chairs, we enjoyed the patio also. The one downside was that the stair entry door was right across the hall and was pretty noisy.

overnight for medical appointment

Nice location nice hotel
We stayed at the Cherry Tree Inn the weekend after Thanksgiving. We got an EXCELLENT rate online and were wondering how this would get us a room literally right on the beach, but sure enough, our patio door opened out onto the beach. Granted, it's November in Michigan--no one is swimming! But the view was beautiful. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was very good.

20 year anniv disappointment
This was our first time at this hotel, we were excited because it is very inviting from outside and it was a special weekend for us! the staff was friendly but our room was terrible!! the mirrior was covered with soap scum and water drips, the floor needed a good sweeping with the furniture moved, chair covered in hair! But the view!! we knew we were not getting a water view but a view of the roof and equipment??? There should be a extra discount on this room! Also the breakfast was good but the tables need to be washed after each breakfast. What a dissapointment.

Awesome hotel!
We're just staying over night to catch a flight in the morning. I booked the room less than a week before getting here and got a decent rate <$80. The staff is very friendly & gave us a courtesy call once we'd gotten to our room to make things were ok. Our room was clean and smelled nice. We have a king-sized bed & still have room to move. There's also a kitchenette. Our room is to beachfront; it overlooks the indoor pool. One thing I MUST comment on is the soap they offer here. It's the best soap I've ever used! That may sound dumb, but just wait til you try it. It's called Bee Kind and it smells awesome & feels great.

I stay here for the Iceman bike race every year. They have a garage you can store your bikes in. The hotel is about 20 miles from the race start and 5 miles from the finish.

FISH 'N CHIPS
Best on the Bay
Always a pure pleasure. Quick, personal check-in. Wonderful view, close to everything, nice breakfast after a restful sleep. NOT A CHAIN HOTEL!
