BEST WESTERN Downtown Motel

Keeping in mind I stayed here on St. Patrick's Day...I thought the hotel was very unassuming on the outside. Nothing special really but the inside was well kept and the staff was friendly. The rooms were somewhat small but then it's a hotel room and I don't need that much room. The only downfall to our stay was that it got somewhat noisy after bar close. I could hear conversations and traffice clear as day from inside our room unfortunately. I would definitely stay here again though as it was close to downtown and at a good price compared to other hotels.

The room was clean as was expected. We did have to check in 30 min. late because the room wasn't ready at 2:00 pm! You would think that the room would be ready by at least that time. Overall, you get what you pay for. This hotel was much cheaper than the fancier hotels down the street, but the location was good as most of the places that we went were within walking distance. The walls were pretty thin because we could hear the next door faucet and shower, however we never heard any people. Other than that, the beds seemed clean with NO BED BUGS! I looked at reviews of many other hotels in the area and this hotel was the only one that didn't have a review that warned about bed bugs. The t.v. was a small, old tube t.v., but it was fine because we weren't really in the room that much. For the price, this hotel was good enough for a little inexpensive romantic getaway.

We changed our first room as it was really smoky for being a "non smoking room". It worked overall but you get what you pay for. Wasn't the cleanest either but if you're on a budget it will serve the purpose.

Ordinary cheap motel, but clean and cheap! If you want to save some money and just sleep over night. You should give it a shot.

The location within Downtown Duluth provide ease of access to many places surrounding Duluth.

We stayed for the inline marathon weekend so we didnt need anything fancy and expensive as we were't going to be in the room that much. The price should be under $100 I think. The road construction made it difficult to enter the parking lot as we had to go around the block several times due to road closings and one-ways. All in all, it was a place to sleep and thats about it, pretty clean, good attempt to update the carpet and stuff. You get what you pay for, one of the cheaper hotels in Duluth.

The location of the hotel was ok, however there was A LOT of construction taking place. This made parking hard. Also, rooms were not very big or clean. We asked specifically for a non-smoking room and didn't get one. Overall, not a great experience and would recommend a different hotel. It was hard to find a decent hotel for a decent price on a Saturday night in Duluth.

Modest motel with mature guests. Felt at home, relaxed and calm. Plenty of parking space. Lovely flowers around the complex. I will recommend this hotel to many of my friends.
