Blues Festival Lodging
We were under the impression from the website that a refrigerator was one of the amenities in each room. The room was very comfortable and clean, but did not have a refrigerator so we were not prepared. I don't like the select comfort beds. Perfect location to Bayfront Park and the DECC, short walking distance to both. Can be accessed through the skywalk system also. We'll have to bring our own electric cooler or stay someplace else.

A bit more than a short walk, but the Lake Ave Restaurant and Bar had fabulous food! Unique items on the menu, very good bloody marys!

Great Location
The Radison is in an OK location, as it is a short walk to Canal Park and a few other restaurants. It is an older hotel, but had nice rooms and a great rotating lounge/restaurant. The only problem I ran into was parking on a Saturday night, so I had to wait and wait for someone to leave. Overall it was a fine stay and I would go back.

Hotel
The hotel is in poor shape and in need of a major, major rehab. The hotel seems as though it experienced a catastrophe. Not worth the money. The pics on website are deceiving. Although, the front desk area is great until you get into the elevators, hallways and room. The elevators are scary and seem like they are going to break down. JJ Astor seems like a nice place to eat but, we will never know; as we were seated and ignored for 10 plus minutes so we walked out. However, the hotel staff was very nice and accomadating. I give them 5 "Stars". They have hard jobs, as I am sure they hear complaints all day long. I won't be back to the Radisson Duluth. Sorry:(

Memorial getaway...
Went to Duluth over the Memorial Day Holiday to sight see and relax. Hotel was in a great location. Staff was very polite and helpful. Room was adequate but missed a microwave and refridgerator. Hotel shuttle was a very nice perk. I would feel comfortable going back.

Don't bother with the Freshwater Aquarium. Definetly NOT worth the $14.50.

Nice hotel for the price
I stayed at this hotel with my mom for a weekend, and I thought it was a nice place for a reasonable price. I had not booked a lakeside room, but they were able to switch me to a room with a lake view for no additional cost. It was a little far to walk to Canal Park, but not too far that you couldn't walk there in the summer. There seemed to be plenty of covered parking by the hotel, which was nice. The views from the top floors are fantastic, although if you do stay on the top floors, the elevators are old and can be a little pokey. The rooms are a little small, but were plenty big for two people. The walls are pretty thin, but none of our neighbors were up late so it really wasn't an issue. The sleep number beds are nice, and there were four pillows on each bed to choose from, so I slept well. The JJ Astor restaurant didn't have a huge selection, but the food was really good, and of course it's fun to see the city from above! We also had a glass of wine and enjoyed the jazz music on Saturday night in their lounge, which was very relaxing. They had a decent looking pool and whirlpool, although I didn't use them. Fitness room was small-only one treadmill and a few other things, but I was able to use it right away, so again, I didn't have an issue. In short, I would definitely recommend this hotel for adults traveling alone, or for couples.

In Hotel
There was a jazz band in the lounge on the top floor of the hotel, and happy hour prices start at 10:00 pm ($2 off). I recommend stopping up for a drink to see the view if you don't want to splurge and have dinner.

Duluth trip
We booked the room for a college graduation. The room was very small. The bathroom was like a postage stamp. The people next door kept closing the door the led out to the hallway. It was set up with two rooms with a doorway that led to the hallway so it must have been a suite at one time. There were no tissues in the room. There was no coffee in the lobby that most hotel provide. The girls at the desk were great but that was the only great thing about our stay there. This was one of the most horrible rooms that I have ever stayed in and we travel alot.

Relaxing end of winter getaway
We just stayed in the hotel and enjoyed eating in the revolving restaurant. Meal costs were somewhat prohibitive but the food and service were both excellent.

Radisson Downtown
There was plenty of parking, check-in was quick and hassle free, staff was very friendly and courteous. The shuttle service was very convenient and was a quick ride to canal park, they also will call you a taxi after the shuttles stop running. The room was clean and the sleep number beds are so comfortable. The rooms have a GORGEOUS view of Lake Superior. Overall wonderful experience.
