Mankato Inn
I was in Mankato to run the marathon and needed a well-priced, clean, comfortable place to stay. It had wireless internet which was great for us to double check the running route etc. Good stuff!

You get what you paid for
We were here in Mankato for the weekend because of homecoming. The hotel wasn't anything special by any means but it was inexpensive and worked for our budget. Needs a lot of work in my opinion but the stay overall was OK.

Exactly what I needed!
After reading reviews for this Hotel, I was not expecting much at all. To my surprise, it was much cleaner and nicer than I had expected! For the Price, it was exactly what I needed..a reasonable quiet, comfortable place to sellp... no frills, but great value for the price!

Our Horrible Trip
This hotel was really creepy! We didn't see any other guests the whole time we stayed. It felt kind of dirty too.

you really get what you pay for...
I was there on business as a work trip. At first I was assigned to a non smoking room. It was pretty decent. Kind of cozy, pretty clean. But the heat didn't blow as hot as I would have preferred. I asked to be switched to a smoking room. The smoking room was not the same at all. The door was almost off the hinges and was kind of hard to open and close. The bathroom door had two dented holes in it where it looked like someone had punched it in. the floor wasn't vaccumed very much. There were bobby pins every where. I also found a large bottle of pills under the bed where someone who was there before me had left them behind. The bathroom did not look sanitary at all. On top of all that, it was freezing. I went downstairs where at the front desk you have to use the front desk phone to call the front desk for assistance because the lady is in the back room instead of at the front desk. When she came out I was asking her to show me where the heater was because it wasn't the same as the non smoking room. (the non smoking room had a switch on the wall with a dial right next to it, very obvious for temp control) She told me that it was there and she knows it, rather than coming up to show me. Finally she showed me the next day where it was at and the heat was soooooo much better in that poor room. I liked it a lot. Despite all the little things that could've been better, you really get what you pay for and I'm not going to complain much. (side note, I have never seen a place where you bring you kids to work. both lady's brought their children)

Ummm...ok I guess
We went to Mankato for homecoming that weekend. I wanted to find a hotel that was close to the University but at a reasonable price. You couldn't beat the price. It was cheap. Check-in time was supposed to be at 1 but when we got there our room wasn't ready so my sister and I waited in the lobby. The hallways had a faint odor and that wasn't pleasant. Our room was OK, two queen sized beds and a bathroom, tv, fridge, microwave. It wasn't totally clean so I disinfected everything: Door knobs, faucet handles, remote control anything that could make us sick. The sheets had some stains on them and were discolored. All in all for the money this place was doable. Nothing special!

clean room, place is getting an update
The check in staff were helpful, but with only one computer they had 2-3 people waiting at busy check in time of 6:oo p.m. Signs were posted to apologize for the current remodeling. Room was updated and clean. Reasonable room for the price.

Ugly
I arrived very late at the hotel and discovered I had no alarm in the room so I had to sleep lightly and get up when I heard others showering.
