Welcome to the Mankato Pride of Super 8, conveniently located off of Highway 169 and Junction 14, in beautiful Southern MN. Highway 169 runs parallel with the scenic Minnesota River, so driving to our facility is a treat all its own, especially during leaf peaking season. Perfect for a busy weekend!

I was in town for my brother's wedding and being apart of the bridal party, you have a lot of things to do. So I wasn't in the hotel until night and it was only for a few hours to sleep, so I really didn't want to pay a lot of money to sleep in a room for 5 hours. Super 8 was a great price with great service! Me and my family felt very welcome! And everything was clean and comfy!

A mixed review

Although the front desk staff was exceptionally helpful, polite and would rank 5 stars, the room and maid staff fell short. The recliner in the room was musty and not pleasant to sit in. The room did not actually have an iron in it, you had to go to the front desk and ask for one.We stayed two nights and the maid staff never emptied the trash and left wet towels on the floor. Overall I would have to say I would not stay there again and we spend 2-3 days in Mankato every year in the spring.

Just Ok

We were in Mankato for Vikings training camp. When we got there the guy at the front desk was on the phone almost the entire time we were checking in. The motel was quiet, which was nice, but there was somebody's hair on the sheets when we pulled back to blankets to go to bed. The morning front desk was very pleasant and friendly though.

Okay for sleeping

The hotel was okay for the one night we were there to basically sleep & get ready in the morning. It would not be good if we were going to stay for longer.

Well above satisfactory

I was looking for a restful place to stay the night, with a recognizable name attached. This turned out to be one of the better Super 8's I have ever stayed. The shower was just what was needed in the morning, and the beds were nearly perfect with firmness.

Dining tip: Short walk from hotel

There is a Happy Chef Restaurant next to the hotel. A simple breakfast and hot coffee really hit the spot.
