If not driving in Minneapolis, buying a $6 day pass valid for 24 hours from the moment you purchase it on buses and the light rail system will save you a lot on transportation.

Valentines Day Stay
It was a great location, right down town. Walking distance to Nicolette mall, the convention center and other awesome Minneapolis entertainment. Also a very short, cheap taxi ride to most other places in minneapolis. My only complaint is they have a very limited parking lot and I ended up having to pay for parking in the ramp across from the hotel. Other than that everything was good.

Parking issue
I have drove to Hotel midnight for check in. I understand there is locating in downtown so is difficult to make the parking for all guests. then parking is shut downed by bar with contact inter-phone to front desk. he said only that we already occupied all parking sorry bye...

Very Impressive Accommodations
We were very pleased with our stay at this hotel. The room was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast buffet had some variation each day and the gentleman,who staffed it some days was very welcoming and friendly. We came to visit our daughter for Christmas and didn't spend a lot of time in the room. We did have some later morning departures and were pleased with how quiet the early mornings were. We did not ever feel the housekeeping staff was anxious for us to leave. We were very pleased with the gated hotel parking lot and having an assigned parking spot for the 5 days. We would highly recommend this hotel.

i've been traveling a lot this year through the most expensive and the not-so-very expensive hotels in the country.. this is simply the best hotel i've been in.. the cleanest, friendliest, most convenient in location, and best room service.. i totally love it and i have never given 5 stars to a hotel before...

Exactly as expected!
This hotel was closer than the official conference hotel, and cost less money. Spacious room and bathroom. Near expressway but very quiet. Clean and well decorated room. No fridge in room, but a well stocked hot and continental breakfast, with changing hot items each morning.

Great place if you don't have to park
I'm a bit torn for this review - the room was immaculate and well maintained, breakfast was great, and the staff was friendly but parking was a major hassle. There is room for perhaps 12-16 cars and its first-come first-served. When I tried to park, the lot was full so I had to back my car into oncoming traffic (the hotel is at the end of a freeway off-ramp, so it was difficult to back out and then cross three lanes to the parking ramp across the street.) The parking ramp has no elevator so I had to schlepp luggage up three flights of stairs. Upon checking in, the internet service was extremely slow although the next morning it was zippy. If I was arriving by taxi and walking, I would gladly stay here again but not if I have to park a car.

If you have a car, drop your luggage off first and THEN park across the street in the parking garage. When its time to leave, have the front desk watch your stuff while you retrieve your car.
