Great hotel

I had a great stay at the holiday inn Metrodome, my only complaint was the parking. We had to park at the parking garage next door which was $14.00 a day, it quickly adds up. But the hotel was neat and clean, very nice staff and in a great location.

Happy with my stay

Ordinary and Basic

The bed is a bit soft for my taste, and the gym is nothing like the photos on the website. The pool is more like a large bath tub. The staff is reasonably friendly and accommodating. A reasonable choice for its proximity to the University. Otherwise, better off elsewhere.

Good location, nice place.

Very nice location, many restaurants, bars, and shops nearby. Close to the stadium as well as the University of Minnesota. Public parking garage is attached although you have to pay extra for it. Nice sauna, hot tub, and pool on top floor.

Good hotel

The hotel is clean, staff is friendly. It is a 5-min walk from the UMN business school; so it was very convenient for me. Walkable distance from downtown.

Nice hotel, but not totally downtown

The hotel is definitely on the outer banks of downtown Minneapolis. It is not even as close to the Metrodome as you would expect. The service was great, but the shuttle only takes you to the Metrodome (proving it's not especially close), and you have to catch a train or take a taxi. Although the parking lot is not hotel owned, it is right next door. So, that is very convenient. The staff was courteous and our room was cleaned even though we had already missed the initial housekeeping service.

Much better than expected

Spent two nights visiting son (student at UM). The trip was very good overall. The proximity to the universty was very nice. it also helped that hotel was within walking distance to a downtown church we attended. It would have been better if there was a free breakfast at the hotel.
