Good hotel for the money.
We stayed there for the Mayo Clinic and also for leisure. The hotel was fine overall; the free breakfast was great. The room wasn't perfect; there was dust on the lamps and fixtures; the sink was chipped and part of the wallpaper in the bathroom was ripped, but this didn't really bother me too much. The hotel was quiet, the bed was comfortable and it was close to restaurants and shopping and there was even a Kwik Trip right across the street which was very convenient; also minutes from downtown Rochester and Apache Mall.

Many great restaurants close by; Applebee's, Panera, Chipotle, pizza place, sushi place and only a short drive to ohter restaurants.

Short drive from hotel
There were two huge shopping complexes right near the motel and restaurants. The major hwy was easily accessible for quick trips to wherever you need to go.

Nice shuttle service; good location.
Check-in was very smooth but the hotel rooms were not clean. There was dust on all the furniture, used soap bars in the shower, there was stuff on the sheets on the bed. Cleaniness was the main issue. there was some noise during the evening but that went away by bedtime. Rooms were nice except for the cleaniness issue.

In Hotel
The shuttle service to Mayo is a great tool but make sure you sign up early for it as it fills up and make sure you tell the shuttle when they are picking you up how many you have. We had to wait for the second shuttle because there was insufficient room for all of us in the van the first trip.

"Wonderful place to Stay"
Great Location. Close to shopping/restruants. Shuttle to the Mayo was great and always on time. Would definitely stay there again on our next trip to the Mayo Clinic. Best price around.

Nice rooms, some frustrating staff
Check in was not pleasant. I thought I had reserved 2 rooms with 2 beds each. When I found I had only one bed in each room, the hotel clerk [...] stated he had rooms with 2 beds available but could not make any changes to my reservations since I went through Orbitz. He was not helpful at all. I called Orbitz and had to wait a long time before I got connected to the right person. Then I had that person talk to [...], using my cell phone, to tell [...] the reservations could be changed. I had to pay an extra $10 for each room even though the online reservation site indicated a room with 2 beds went for the same price as a room with one queen bed. I was delayed in getting checked in and in getting my guests checked in (I reserved 3 rooms through Orbitz). I was very frustrated by this experience and will probably not use Orbitz again for this reason.
