One Night Stay
I stayed at the DoubleTree for one night and I thought it was a very convenient location and easy to find. The bed and room were very comfortable but a little warm without the ability to lower the temp. The hotel added my Hilton Honors # at time of check-in and upgraded my room. Only downside was that you had to pay for the parking ramp that was attached to the hotel and the Starbucks right outside the hotel was only open til noon (checkout time) on Sunday.

Chesters was a great restaurant and you could get there through the skywalk, no outside walking which is great in the dead of winter.

Doubletree mayo clinic
This is a very nice hotel. Very close to good shopping and restaurants. Very nice staff. Highly recommend.

Pescara restaurant is excellent in the Doubletree hotel and Chester's is also across the street and excellent.

Only had a short stay(2 nights).. Was a very clean, friendly hotel that offered free courtesy car too Shopping Malls...

Location, location, location
The Hotel was beautiful, clean, and comfortable. The staff were helpful and courteous. The sky walk connections get you all over downtown; everything was a short walk away. In the middle of the winter, we could leave our room and find everything we needed without a coat!

Newt's, famous for its burgers, is a short walk. Definitely, worth the walk for these ultimate burgers.

Doubletree Hotel, Rochester, Minnesota
The hotel was wonderful. The room was newly redecorated with new carpeting. The lobby also had been recently redone and was very nice. The location is very handy to shopping and the Mayo Clinic. The only down side was the very expensive food in the restaurant. Not only was it pricey but it was not exceptionally good.

Sister number three
Go there anually
My sisters and I went on an annual get-together and stayed at the Doubletree. We have been there twice before. The rooms are very nice, and the check-in fast and easy, with professional staff. However, there was something wrong with the heating/air conditioning system and the room was too warm during the night. We tried to change the settings but the fan would just turn off and it would be even hotter. It was too late in the evening to make a complaint by the time we realized it, so we just put up with it. Also, the toilet ran off and on all night, needed plumbing attention. We felt the maintenance staff could have been more proactive, for a top-notch hotel.

Loved the warm chocolate chip cookies given upon check-in! A very nice restaurant called Michael's is just a half block away using the skywalk system.

Great location
Overall a good experience but did not feel like the room was being cleaned as well as it could have been. Hotel staff very friendly and location can not be beat.
