Excellent staff
My husband booked two smoking rooms as that was the only ones they had available. For a smoking room it was horrible. The smell was unbelievable. The stale smoke smell was choking. I'm a smoker and I couldn't handle it. I said something to the gal who was working up front and she moved us to a different set of rooms. She was wonderful, really trying to help us out within the limit of what she could do. Any interaction with the staff was awesome! Absolutely NO complaints there. The rooms were not dirty by any means, they were actually very clean, but they need to address the overwhelming smoke smell.

The good, the bad and the really ugly
We got into our room and it smelled moldy, floor was wet. We asked to be moved to another room, the next room was a smoking room (only one they had left) smelled so bad had to reject that room also. We asked for anything they had - they moved us to a suite room with 2 double bed and a couch, but we had to clean the room and change the sheets (because they didn't have anybody to do that that late at night, about 9:30 PM). The pool was freezing cold and the hot tub did not work. [...]

Good budget hotel
Desk person was friendly and helpful. The room was clean but had a small odor. The pool was warm but the hot tub and sauna wasn't working. Very close to downtown St. Cloud and easy to get around.

There is a restaurant next to the hotel and there is a walkway to get to it so you don't have to go outside. The continental breakfast includes a Belgian waffle maker that is always great to have and enjoy.

Although the hotel was obviously older, it was well maintained and clean. The hotel staff was pleasant and vary helpful. A good value for what I paid.

Great offer for great price.
Last minute room reservation and it accommodated us well. Comfy bed, smelled clean, looked clean, great breakfast offered and staff treated our needs with dignity and respect! Great room for a great price!

The best part of the stay was the friendly young lady at the front desk. The room, 236 smelled of cigarette smoke. There was a table/desk, but no outlet within 10 feet! When the people next door arrived about an hour after I did, they obviously began smoking because the smell intensified greatly. I was very clear in requesting a "No Smoking" room and asked again at check in. The bathroom floor was ridiculously slippers, both wearing socks and barefooted. The bed was uncomfortable and between it and the cigarette smell, I woke up with a horrendous headache.
