Holiday Inn Hotel & Suites ST. CLOUD

Lots to offer and great fun for kids. Good central location in St Cloud. Room walls are thin and you can hear noise from next room

Room HVAC was non-functional and it was over 90 in the room when we checked in and still 90 when we returned to the room after our event. Had to call front desk and after some minor check on the operation from a non technical staff, we had to pack up and move to another room. Compensation was $4 off a dink in the bar which we had no use for. Also, no free breakfast in the morning which I found to be very unusual. Will not say here again, the competion ofters more (newer facility, free breakfast) for similar price. Was quiet, clean and staff was friendly.

Rooms were nice & clean. Lots to do! Children's area was messy. Left over food in a place were my toddler almost ate it.

Pros: Five pools to choose from. Lots of video games, courts for basketball/volleyball, typical, if somewhat limited television to watch. Hotel easy enough to find. Friendly staff, have to give them that, nice waitress. Place is clean and tidy at least (except for noted below). Con: Beds as hard as boards. Pillows. Why can't hotels ever get pillows right? "Soft" is so think you can feel your hand through it? "Firm" feels like you're sleeping on a basketball? Rooms heating/cooling system so loud couldn't sleep, but if you turned it off, you either got too hot or too cold. You guys better check what constitute as a "queen" size. We asked for queen size beds and they looked like doubles. Had to be because I was falling out half the night. And that hallway? Was that section of the hotel built for hobbits? Pools/Hot Tubs: Thankfully you had more than one hot tub, but one was so dirty people were avoiding it. The pool rooms went from chilly to chillier. Tiny towels, and so few was definitely a problem. "Legends" Cafe: Okay, what was so "Legendary" about this? Yeah, kids ate free, but it was $15 a pop for each adult on buffet, and for what!? Tasteless eggs, hard french toast, tough meat, dry desserts, and the rest of it was just less than "legendary." Sorry guys, but it was one of my worst hotel stays.

Didn't get what I wanted for the high price. No continental breakfast, room was small, not the cleanest of rooms and no HDTV. Although the pool area/kids area looked fun.

We had adjoining rooms and were there for an anniversary party. We enjoyed the pools and arcade areas, the hotel was full but we had plenty of space.

It was very enjoyable. We were there for my little brothers wedding and there were alot of people there. Everyone was able to visit with each other and that made it very nice. Your housekeeping staff was acceptional!They did a wonderful job on our rooms every day!

The pool was out of towels, wen we asked for more they brought so few that they were all gone in an hour. The kidzone games were nasty fair type crane games, that kids want to play but they can never win. The crane game that you played until you could win and get candy the crane was broken so it couldn't get the candy over the wall to the area you could grab the candy. The kids were frustrated. I was disappointed that the games were not more kid oriented. Our room was very small. But the bed was comfortable.

It was where I needed to stay because a friend was having a wedding there but the price was a little high for the size of the room and only getting one bed.

It was a business trip. We got in late aft on a Sunday so not much happening.
