No complaints other than the bed was springy and we had the room across the hall from the elevator? I am starting to see a pattern--if we don't directly book hotel, we get the least best location of rooms.
I would recommend that it is good in a pinch.

Quality Inn blue Springs is situated conveniently just off I-70 at Mo.7, but actually getting to the Hotel itself off a side road is alittle tricky if you're not familiar with the area. The check in person seemed disinterested and the lobby is unattractive and small. The room wasn't bad; and the chief complaint is the hotel is immediately adjacent to a Denny's which must be open either all night or at least very late. The crowd for it is noisy and it seems to be a late night drunk stop. The breakfast is free but the choices are limited and the coffee is colored water. The day staff was a little friendlier and the actual clientele at the hotel are your tyopical road warriors. The price was right but for even that much or maybe $10 more one could do a lot better in the immediate area.

The room was nice and clean. The only problem was that they give you a complimentary breakfast but the coffee and capochino machine was empty every morning and so was the juice machine. We went to the front desk to let someone know and no one ever came to fill it up. That was upsetting to a lot of the guest that were in the breakfast room.

Went to a Kansas City Royals baseball game and needed something close and cheap to stay just one night. The room is good for just sleeping. I wish the bedroom and bathroom were more up-to-date, but it was fairly decent for the price we paid.

We went down for the Chiefs game and needed a hotel that would fit into our budget. The staff was wonderful, very attentive. The hotel seemed older and the elevator floor seemed like it was going to fall through and there were no step accessible even to the second floor. We were worried the air conditioner was going to have an electrical fire, but it sure did blow cold.

Hotel was not the most upscale, but for the price, it was great. I did not need any of the amenities, but they were there if I did. Good breakfast and the room was clean! !! Bed was comfy too. For the very reasonable price, was exactly what I was looking for. Good for a 'crash' or quick business-trip hotel.

Its nice and newer but where's the pool?

While driving we noticed billboards along the highway for this hotel that said indoor pool...we arrive and as I'm looking thru hotel service guide I see hours and rules of using the pool. My kids change into their swim trunks and we go off in search of the pool, walking from one end of the property to the other end, we walk outside thinking its a separate building, we can find NO POOL. We go to the lobby and ask the attendant on duty where is the pool, she says "Oh we've requested one but its not installed yet", I shrug and say huh and walk off, wondering how she could know that because when we checked into the hotel, she wasn't sure how to check us in, her name badge said "trainee", so she knows about their request for a pool but not how to check in people.
The bathroom in the 2 bed room is very small, you cant close the bathroom door without walking between the sink and toilet.

Non smoking room...complete with ash tray stating no smoking, and horribly smoky linens and pillows, awful. Had to get different pillows from front desk. Carpet had a lovely stench of vomit. Horrid to say the least.

There are no non-smoking rooms. The room was very dirty, carpet stained with what looked like blood...enough said.
