Welcome to Americas Best Value Inn Columbia, located off of Interstate 70 exit 126. We are within two miles of downtown, the University of Missouri, Columbia College, Stephens College, and Cosmopolitan Park. Boone County Fairgrounds and the area hospitals are within a 5 mile radius. The Columbia Regional Airport and Rock Bridge State Park are 15 miles away. We are only five blocks away from an access point to the Bear Creek Trail, which connects Columbia*s two largest parks with a 4. 8 mile gravel trail. We are 120 miles from both Kansas City and St. Louis, and 30 miles from the state capital, Jefferson City. The Lake of the Ozarks is only an hour away and Branson is just 3 hours away. . Our 2009 renovations included updating room amenities, rewiring our entire property so that we could offer guests free high speed Internet access in every room, and adding a business center with fax/copy assistance. We also updated our pool area and added a fitness room. Our 100 rooms now offer a microwave, mini-fridge, hairdryer, free high speed Internet, cable TV with 50 additional channels including HBO/ESPN/Disney, and free local calls. In addition to the standard room amenities, our 10 two room suites offer a wet bar, coffeemaker, sofa bed, and iron with an ironing board. Our two story exterior corridor hotel offers two handicap accessible rooms with guard rails and roll-in showers. We offer free USA Today newspapers in the lobby Monday-Friday, free continental breakfast, guest laundry facilities, picnic area, and a 10 percent discount at Country Kitchen *next door*. We are a pet friendly hotel, but pets must be checked in at the front desk. We limit pets to two 20 lb animals in a pet friendly room. Our front desk is 24 hours a day. quests drinking throwing up on the walk ways yelling beeping car horns cursing all night long, parking was impossible you pulled into a space to narrow and had to CAREFULLY BACK out all the way to the main exit

Terrible rooms

We did not stay at this facility. The room was dirty, bath was even worse...therefore we searched out another motel. We would not recommend this Inn to anyone. The description was totally misleading.

No frills, but satisfactory

We just needed a place to stay at night, and the hotel was fine for that. Not luxurious by any means, but staff were friendly and we felt safe. Also only a few minutes from downtown.

a dump

the place is a dump my shower did not work i caled the desk ther answer was will leve a note for maintenance. so no shower that day

First night was terrible, 2nd night, OK

The first night we were there, the hotel desk clerk completely ignored our complaints about the noise. I called to make her aware of the situation. Her response was, "Yes I just checked-in those 8 rooms, they will probably be like that all night long". If it had not been for the heater fan, that wasn't needed for heat, but to help drown out some of the noise, we would not have slept at all. We got very little sleep that first night. Thanks for your concern, desk clerk.

Don't expect there to be coffee in your room. It was not advertised they would have coffee in the room, but I've come to expect it, since it's been in every room for the last 10 years.

A pleasamt surprise

This hotel was easy to find and met our needs for a place to rest our heads after a long day enjoying a football weekend at MIZZOU. Although not fancy, the room was clean and everything in working order, also a recently renovated bathroom. The complimentary breakfast was simple, but adequate, keeping cost down. Having exterior entrances to the rooms kept noise down.

overpriced for what it was

This motel was more expensive than other motels in Columbia, but it was the only room available in town. the room was small and cramped, but it was clean.
