La Quinta Inn & Suites Columbia

We had no problems checking in and they didn't even take a credit card for incidentals like most do. The room was large with an especially nice desk setup for business travelers and free wifi in the room. There was a flat screen tv, microwave, mini fridge, and coffee machine all very clean. The bed linens and comforter, etc. were all very nice with lots of pillows. The breakfast was "cold" though there was a great waffle maker that worked perfectly - also, cereal, bagels, coffee, hot water, juice, etc. The only thing I can fault about the entire experience is that the room sink was outside the bathroom and that the bathroom itself was then tiny (though clean). As a woman I hate putting on my makeup out in the open and I had to turn the light on which woke up my companion. Other than that quibble, which I wouldn't have minded a bit if I were traveling alone on business, everything was great.

This was close to Columbia Mall with multiple good restaurants close by. The room was spacious and clean and friendly staff. Good value for the money

Excellent location to city amenities. Friendly and responsive staff. ( No gym - but that would be a personal issue! ).

We chose this hotel because it allows dogs to stay free, and this is a biggie! The room was extremely clean and very nice, beds good but i would take my own pillow next time..no smell at all in the room. Complimentary toiletries are lacking so go prepared, also missed having a pool on those hot days and evenings. Breakfast is ok, it is free, and good if you have kids. staff very nice.

We enjoyed our hotel stay except for the mold in the bathroom (which is an allergy for me). However, the linens were clean and the room was well made. We attended several local attractions, which included Isle of Capri Casino in Booneville, Les Bourguoise Winery, and Flat Branch Patio Brewery where we enjoyed a lovely dinner.

College visit Miz Zou Bed gave me a sore back. Kinda sagged. No workout facility and location a little too close to highway for nice walk. Clean room.

Spacious, clean room--and our cats stayed for free!

The hotel, for the most part, was modern. The only downside was the television which seemed to be a decade too old. Not to mention that for the price I was paying for the room I was surprised to find only 40 television channels (I like my television and variety IS the spice of life). Cheaper hotels in the area offer a better cable variety. The parking was easy to navigate, though limited, but I never had any issue finding a space close to the door. The desk staff are friendly and the hotel is quiet. The staff respects your privacy and leaves a card in your door telling you how much they didn't want to bother you, because you posted a "do not disturb" sign on the door. They offer you the services of the front desk, who can provide you with anything you may need. The laundry facilities were small but adequate. The vending machines were a little overpriced on certain items, as were the soda machines, but I find that typical for convenience items. All things considered my stay here was nice and I would consider returning as soon as they work on that television issue.

We went to visit family but unfortunately we were kept awake until 2:30 am due to a girls basketball team yelling, running, and going in and out of doors. We called the manager, we talked with the girls, it was out of control. Needless to say we were very tired and frustrated about the situation. Second night had improved but overall was a great disappointment
