Clean, quiet and well appointed room. Large Flat screen with cable, frig, micro wave, free internet, 3 comp cocktails and comp snacks in the evening.
The breakfast leaves much room for improvement... the powdered eggs are runny and the sausage is very greasy. The make your own waffles are good.
We were here visiting family in a nearby town and the parking lot was full if we returned past 10:00 PM.
Great shopping in the area... Sam's Club, Walmart, many other stores and restaurants.
We plan on staying here every trip in the future.

The property is nice. The beds were advertised as queens, but really they are doubles. With a tall dad and son in the picture, ouch! Breakfast rocks. If you're shorter, you're good. If you've got 2 people instead of 4, you're great!

We stay in Hotels alot, this is not by far the worst. I did laundry for free, just bring your own soap, while the kids exercised. The washers were small and the dryers were not drying well but we were fine. Wish there was a refridgerator to keep the baby's milk in. We are not picky as long as its clean.

We chose the hotel for its suites. It was very well equipped and comfortable. The staff were the most attentive and personable group I have ever had in my travels. We had an issue with keys working from outdoors, it was raining during our stay, but the desk addressed the issue immediately and were more upset about it than we were.

Great Staff , Great Hotel

I was driving 700 miles for a family funeral and called to confirm late arrival. The staff was very compassionate and friendly. When I arrived at 2:30 a.m. , they rushed me through check-in in about a minute. In my rush to check out , I left a laptop computer and a pair of boots in the room. The day manager called my wife in Texas , who in turn called my family in Missouri to inform me. When I arrived at the hotel , the manager met me at the door with my belongings and said he had prepared to Fedex them to my home , 700 miles away , if I couldn't have come to get them. My experience with the Hilton / Joplin, MO was nothing short of perfect. I would recommend the hotel to anyone.

For some reason the room was "muggy"--air conditioning was on as it was really hot outside. Our clothes were damp when we unpacked at the next stop. Frustrating that we couldn't use the computer online as the signal was "low" and the man at the front desk couldn't seem to improve it for our room way in the back

Clean basic hotel. Quiet even though it's near the street. Older property but updated nicely. Only detractor is accessibility. OK for a business night or two. Breakfast was no great shakes, but did have eggs, sausage and bacon. A step up from the cheap pastries and Fruit Loops served at most hotel breakfasts at this level.

At first glance the room seemed clean. Upon closer inspection, there was a thick layer of dust under & around the TV, all lamps, light switches...anything that required human touch was filthy, the phone had something spilled on it and the hand piece was covered in human face grease, the ice bucket & lid were dirty. I will never stay there again

The Good and the Bad

Overall the hotel was decent however it was somewhat of a nusiance in that the cable TV did not work correctly. There were channels that did not come in at all. We called the front desk and they said they already knew about it and that it had been out for about three days. Also, they had a lot of remodeling going on so access to the rooms was not easily accessible. On the flip side I did enjoy the beds. They were very comfortable and provided a good night's sleep.

nice hotel and plenty of room in suite. my only complaints would be 30 or more rings on phone before they answered(needed directions to hotel). also apparent staffing problems Nobody at desk for checkout and brkfast area also had no one there.

We visited family in town. Everyone at the hotel was so nice. The breakfast was the best one I have had in a long while!! Bed was comfortable and the hotel was quiet during the night. Everything was very handy.Nice restaurants close by. My only problem was trying to get a truck with a trailer out onto Rangeline Road without a lot of difficulty when trying to turn left.

located right on the main drag, easy access to all the places we wante to go. the room was a little dated, but quiet and comfortable. the staff was very helpful and friendly. if there were any parties going on, we did not hear them., rested well. will be back.

I stayed in this hotel for a week and it is very basic. I ended up with a smoking room, and I'm a non-smoker. It wasn't miserable, but the whole floor definitely smelled like smoke and there was a LOT of nasty smoke buildup on the ceiling and on the sprinkler in my room. The bed was comfy. The shower was nice. The internet was good but spotty. There is coin-operated laundry on the second floor and it's located right off the interstate, so if you need to be close to the road, it's perfect. Little secret, it's less than 1 mile from Shoal Creek, which is a beautiful river in Joplin that you can swim in, take a float and a lawn chair and relax with a beer in the river. Very beautiful. Snotty demanding people won't like this hotel. Normal people will think it's fine, but will be ready to leave eventually.

Considering this hotel was so close to the tornado's path, the rooms were fine.We were just there to volunteer so the location was handy. No hot water the first night or TV, but cable was out everywhere so it was nothing they could help. The rooms were clean and the hot water was on the 2nd day.
