Worthwhile place to stay.
Because of the style and historical nature of the motel, our room was on the small side but in excellent shape (well maintained & renovated) and clean. We would stay here again if in the Springfield MO area. Motel is quaint with historical (Rte 66) features and staff is knowledgeable about the history.

Nice Place to Stay
We stayed in the classic 1938 room, and it was quite pleasant. The bed was comfortable and the shower was very good. It was obvious that the location was rich in history based on the layout of the property and the room had a picture showing how the place looked in the 30's. The decor was nice and it was very well maintained. The room was small, but very comfortable. Getting a car through the parking lot was a little challenging as it was probably originally designed for cars of the 1930's.

Nannies Best
Simple
As a single woman and where I was placed, it was back in a dark corner lot away from the closeness of the office. They may take into consideration single occupants (women) traveling. It gave me an eery feeling coming &going going from my room. The ice machine was located between 2 bldgs which was scared. Therefore I wouldn't go out to get anything. I was in room # 411 and checked out early because I was uncomfortable. The staff was great/friendly, &I accomodaing. I would not stay there again.

Elvis Slept There and So Did I
A great 50's style motor court updated to today's standards. It has earned a place on the National Historic Register and a place for my return business. This is my second trip using this motel for an inroute stay and I have enjoyed it each time. Fantastically comfortalbe matresses, super showers, and a great led flatscreen TV. All competed with a completely enjoyalbe complimentary continental breakfast. Everything for the weary traveler.

Clean, affordable, quaint hotel
Staff was very helpful and friendly, room was great, pool and hot tub were nice and continental breakfast was fully stocked and had a nice variety. We would definitely stay here again. Nice location if you are staying in Springfield.
