Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was okay. Walls are thin so we woke up to the next rooms clock radio each day. Beds had no mattress pads/covers at all. It was the cotton sheet on the mattress. I was surprised in this day and age. I asked at the front desk and she said not all beds had mattress covers. I requested one and it was put on that day.

Not bad
Indoor pool is small & felt like bath water, but it still served its purpose: letting the kids swim in December. We reserved a room with 2 beds & a crib two weeks prior to our stay, but when we arrived, they had no cribs. "Ya never know when people are gonna show up," said the front desk clerk. Well, they knew when WE would be there so I don't see how they couldn't have had one available. Other than that, it's not a bad place to stay the night. Thank God for the Walmart less than a mile away. :)

Nice Hotel
If you are looking for a place to simply sleep this hotel was more than adequate. We were gone all day so as far as the other amenities it offers, we can't comment on. The room and breakfast area were clean and we experienced no noise disturbances for the 2 nights we stayed.

If you like antiques or just a store with lots of odds and ends, go to Mike's Unique Antiques. Springfield Brewing Company and Farmer's Gastropub are great places to dine. The Dickerson Zoo is wonderful if you are looking for a small zoo for younger kids.

Disaster waiting to happen
Room had broken toilet and water would not turn off in the bathtub. Asked to be moved to another room and there was no one to bring me a key. Went to lobby and traded keys. When I got to the new room it wasn't cleaned yet.

Beyond expectations
Went into room lights did not work so they upgraded our room on the same floor. Their kindness was much appreciated. Breakfast was wonderful!

AWESOME!
The hotel was great! It was clean and very well put together. It was off the beaten path which was nice because it was quiet. I was there with my boyfriend for less than twelve hours (road trip) but the bed was comfortable and the towels were clean. Worth what we paid for it.

Loved La Quinta Inn!
We had to spend one night after a day long trip from Texas en route to Wisconsin. The La Qunita Inn was convenient as it is right off of I 44. The price was very reasonable for a super clean non-smoking room with 2 dble beds. The beds and pillows were so comfortable that we slept like babies. I wish we could have stayed longer than just one night! The staff was cordial and pleasant. Finally the free continental breakfast was just right before going back on the road. If my family ever plans a trip any where near Springfield, MO we will stay with the La Qunita Inn off of I 44! Thanks for the comfort and convenience!
