Close to the hospitals

Stayed here while family member had major surgery at Cox Hospital. Hospital was close proximity to this hotel and made it convenient to come and go quickly. Room was very clean, and the pool was nice. We would stay here again.

Ok for one night

Although the staff members were friendly and helpful, my room was a different story. My sink area had someone else's hair around it, the room itself had a slight odor, and my bed was itchy and the bottom sheet had an unidentified stain on it. For the price, this hotel was ok, but I would rather spend a little more money next time to stay in a cleaner room.

Maria's mexican restuarant downtown had GREAT food & service; definitely a MUST while in Springfield.

great place to stay

We were using this as a stopping place for one night when we got in, and one night before we left. 9 days apart. I would go back to this hotel for an extended stay in a heart beat. Rooms were very clean. Breakfast was very good and had a lot of choices.

Excellent

We arrived and were promptly processed at the main desk. The room was clean and in excellent repair. We received a call to inquire if everything was satisfactory. The breakfast was really good, and the service was outstanding. I have no negative comments; it was a perfect experience.

Ineffective thermostat

Good service at front desk and in breakfast ares. Improvements in service needed: Could not sleep more than 1-2 hurs at a time due to hot & cold tempature extremes from any setting on the thermostat. Also had to call desk to stop noise in hallway at 2 am. Went to work out but the only stationary bike was out of service so I went to use the hot tub and found out that the pool area does not open up until 9 am. - I asked the desk clerk to pass on my recommendation to open the pool area at 7 am in future.

If necessary...

While the hotel state smokefree, it has not been updated in a while and the rooms still smell of cigarette smoke. The hotel needs a refresh.

Convenient, clean and helpful
