Won't stay at this hotel again

Arrived at the hotel. The front desk person appeared to awake from a nap. He was not friendly at all. Asked if he could recomend a restaurant and he said, you can find one in the book in your room. Took our things to the room. Thought we were getting queen size beds and they were full size. Beds weren't very comfortable. The bathroom had the toliet and shower in a small closet like room. the toliet when flushed made weird loud noices. Our room was located right off the interstate so heard vehicles all the time. Was not quite. Our daughter needed a towel and had to go to the front desk. The same clerk that checked us in wanted to know why she needed another towel and she told him she needed it for her father who walked down with her. He was very rude to her. We did not appreciate that. The pool towels were more like hand towels and it took more than one towel to dry off. All in all this place needs work. We will never stay at this hotel location again. We will stay with the chain of hotels, but this location will be removed from our stays. When we checked out, the morning clerk, didn't ask how our stay was. I think the front desk employees need work.

We visited Silver Dollar City on the first day and then went to Jefferson City on the second day. The only real complaint that we have is that the beds were unconfortable.

Nice weekend stay

We were visiting friends so not in our room much but found it to be more spacious and nicely designed, had a pleasant feel to it. We did have a noisy AC mostly on the high setting that woke us up during the night. And we had noisy neighbors with a barking dog into the wee hours of the morning. The staff said they would attend to the AC upon checkout. But overall, not a bad stay. Great breakfast bar!

Shopping tip: Short drive from hotel

There were multiple shopping centers and restaurants within a short distance. We found it amusing that there were steps leading off the parking lot to the adjacent QuickTrip.

Easy to find, friendly desk

The Sleep Inn Medical District was a nice hotel. We were very pleased with The Sleep Inn. It was on the edge of town, but easy to get from the hotel to where we wanted to go. Very comfortable and priced reasonably.

Just up the road (maybe a mile) is a 24 hour Steak n Shake, Krisy Kreme, several restaurants, Bass Pro Shops, and the mall is just one turn down Battlefield Road. Good stuff!
