St Louis - Great Value, Cleanliness & Friendly Service

Save a bunch over some of the larger hotels and enjoy all that St Louis has to offer in a great location with safe easy walk to wonderful sites and restaurants.

A bit scary
In true motel fashion, the doors open onto the streets. This would not be awful except that the doors all had gaps at the bottom so that noise and bugs seeped through. The location relative to downtown was great, but the clientele, vagrant population, and run-down areas immediately north of the hotel made walking in and out of the hotel a bit frightening. The beds seemed clean, but the carpets, bathrooms, and the building itself were very run-down and pretty exposed to the elements, making them musty and grimy.

The room I had reserved had a front door that didnt close all the way therefore wouldnt lock and had hairs in the sheets as if someone else had been in the bed before we checked in

I would not recommend this hotel. Although staff were friendly and tried their best the place is place is old and and needs to be demolished. We were stuck for somewhere to stay otherwise would have move to more suitable accommodation.

Ugly
First of all the place didn't look anything like the picture. Location was great,room not that clean and service was awful. The room next door the people were fighting half the nite and were loud. Front desk did nothing about it. For what I paid will not stay their again.

A good deal
This hotel was newly renovated, and centrally located, within walking distance of the Arch, Laclede landing, a casino and the ball park. Staff was friendly and very helpful. A great deal for the money!
