Close to downtown attractions

Good, alittle tricky driving downtown alone. Needed someone along to navigate one way streets.

convenient to the Dome for sporting events

stayed one night with my daughters on a visit to STL. . location convenient to the Dome/Convention Center but did not feel safe enough to walk around at night. Close to the Arch (car needed).Free indoor parking in structure was good...lobby was nice and spacious but outside entrance was dirty and littered. Elevator interiors were rather worn, hallways littered, and smelled like smoke. Room was clean. Our 2 Queen bedded room was actually a one bedroom suite with a thinly well worn mattress sofabed and 1 Queen bed in the bedroom. Free breakfast was decent with fruit, cereal, eggs, toast, bagels, sausages, yogurt, oatmeal. Did not use the pool/hottub/fitness room, nor did we see them. We really just needed a place to stay at the last minute and the price was good compared to other downtown hotels on this busy weekend. Would not stay again - rather pay more money for better location especially if arriving by car!

Perfect Overnight Stay!

The purpose of the room was so that we didnt have to drive home after an all-inclusive Cardinals game and a night of gambling. It was perfect! This hotel offers way more than any other downtown. Staff was friendly & let us check in early since the game was at 315. The room was perfect! Free drinks and food from 530-7 and free hot breakfast in the morning! Not to mention Wi-fi which I found most hotels made you pay for! Parking was also included and in the building. I was impressed with the cleanliness and the security. You need your room key to acess the hotel after hours - as well as the elevator. The tunnel entrance to thec casino is right across the street! My only complaint is the bed. It was very soft - but I did notice that itseemed to sag a bit in the middle. This is the hotel we will book from now on!

There is an entrance to a tunnel for Lumier Casino right across the street. A security officer is posted at the door at all times.

Awesome

My stay at Drury Inn turned awesome. I like the way hotel is designed and constructed, the amenities are good, room is awesome. I felt i went to a picnic having both evening hot snacks and monring hot breakfast. Kids can have fun in the swimming pool. The hotel staff was very helpful and respectfull. No matter what u ask, they will try to help u as much as they can. Overall I had a very good stay here and cannot expect more than this. My family liked in very much. I would like to stay in Drury Inn where ever i go but they are not every where. Hope they construct every where.

Great bang for the buck !

Friendly staff was very friendly and the accomodations more than adequate. The kids loved the food bar for evening and breakfast meals, and of course the pool. Everything located just a few steps from our door. Parking was easy and checkin was a breeze. We will definitely use this hotel again.

A Little Jewel in Downtown St. Louis

Each year (for the past 8 or 9 years) six of my friends and I have tried to take a trip together. Sometimes not all of the six are able to travel because we are all 73 yrs. old and have known each other since the 7th grade. This year, it was suggested that we try to make the location somewhere "central" and the question was asked, "Is St. Louis central?" Since you do not get more central than that (we are scattered from Arizona to Pennsylvania to Texas), we agreed to "Meet Me in St. Louis." The Drury Inn CVC was recommended because of its location right in the heart of downtown. WOW were we lucky. The staff was incredibly courteous and helpful. I have never stayed in a hotel where you could eat two solid meals a day for free if you wanted, plus park your car and enjoy three free drinks each day during happy hour(s). We were a little doubtful when we discovered that there was no shuttle to the hotel from the airport, but with what we saved on meals and parking, the cab fare was a breeze. This is a little jewel and I will not trade it for any of the multi-story Drury Inns in St. Louis. Hope to be able to go back soon.

Dining tip: In Hotel

Eat in the Italian restaurant in the basement of the hotel. The pasta is fresh and was the best we found in town (including The Hill!).

4th of July get away

Everything was good till it started raining and the roof started leaking. Other than that the staff was very up beat and they kick butt on the free amenities.
