Excellent Service and Comfortable Stay
The staff at the Sheraton offered exceptional service and was extremely polite, courteous, and helpful. They were very considerate to our needs as we were traveling with our dog. We even had our room upgraded and experienced a nice stay in a very clean and spacious room. In the morning we enjoyed a delicious complimentary breakfast. Overall our stay was wonderful and this Sheraton will definitely be a first choice when staying in St. Louis. Thank You to the staff!!

Excellent Service and Extremely Accomodating
Staff was very helpful and understanding with the accommodation of our dog. They employees were polite, professional, and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. We were upgraded to a very nice suite and enjoyed the amenities of complimentary breakfast. The service was superb and the room was large, clean, and very nice. We will definitely choose the Sheraton of Clayton Plaza for our future hotel stays! Thank you for everything!

Room Service excellent and reasonable. Parking more than other hotel in area. Older hotel with rooms updated, but not other areas. Large pool, but I was not interested in looking out my window at the indoor pool with its music and noise till 10pm nightly.

Hampton Inn would be better...
I attended a conference here in late October 2011. I will not stay at the location again. We paid about $130 a night. You could self park for $14 a day or valet park for $19 a day. The good: Our room and restroom appeared clean - the bathroom could have used a little more work in getting the walls clean. The entry was lovely. The bar and lounge area were a nice gathering space. The personnel were helpful, nice, and quick to help. The room had a large HD thin panel TV ( channel offering was poor). The Bad: The two things that stand out more than anything are the size of the room (extremely small) and the bed - ATROCIOUS! - like sleeping on the floor it was so hard. The bathroom was nicely appointed but tiny and there was no bathtub - just a walk in shower - which, for us, was not a problem. The towels were very soft at arrival but like cardboard the following days at replacement. The tissue and toilet paper - cheap and rough. The housekeeper indicated that we needn't use the recycle receptacle because they threw it into one bin anyway - apparently it was just for show. The bed...I barely slept the three nights we were there. The bed was rock hard. There appeared to be no mattress cover - just a sheet with some type of pad underlayment that sounded plastic in the middle of the bed. ( I don't even want to know.) I got up sore each morning. That was the only place to sit in the room as well. There was no fridge or microwave either. The coffee in the room was way too strong, even if it was a Starbucks brand. The hotel did not offer a breakfast...shame on them. I wouldn't stay here again. And only stayed here because it was convenient to go to my conference downstairs. I never have a bad stay at a Hampton Inn...I'll find it the next time...I should have known better...

Art fair in Clayton
We enjoyed walking around Clayton and staying so close to the fair. Clean, comfortable room, although a little small. Parking was $14 for an overnight stay which we though was a little pricey. Only 2 elevators which were always busy.

Back to School
Very nice and clean. Asked for restaurant recommendations and they were not helpful. Said there weren't any near where I was goining and should eat somewhere else. So we ate elsewhere then wehen we got to our destination there was a great looking restaurant next door! I wasn't told about the free breakfast and coffee so didn't get any.

Worth it
We dropped our daughter off at college, and this hotel was a perfect location. The hotel offered great amenities - indoor pool, access to computers, bar, complimentary coffee in the lobby. The staff was courteous and helpful. Our one gripe was parking. We were charge $14 to park for self-parking in the hotel lot. When we talked to the front desk, we were told that the lots were owned by the city of Clayton, and nothing could be done. We have stayed at other hotels in the Clayton area and received complimentary parking for hotel guests.

Dirty Towels
3 dirty towels in the room, it looks like they were folded dirty and never washed. You expect more from a hotel especially after you pay the premium price. Parking will set you back $15 and wiFi will be $10 per day
