These innkeepers were just going through the motions. There's was a minimum effort situation. Breakfast bar area was small (only three tables) and the food was very unappealing with a limited variety. When we arrived in the room, three lights were burned out and none of our rooms smelled very good. This is one of those pets welcomed hotels so I guess that is to be expected. The hallways smelled smoky, the rooms smelled either musty or of pet urine.

The Best Western Ridgeland Inn was a great clean facility. Close to Great Dining Spots, a Movie Theatere, and The Interstate...Great Place to stay!

The front desk staff are some of the best I have ever had the pleasure of meeting . Carolyn is one of the friendliest and one of the reasons we will return to this location

The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean and well organized, though a little small. The hetel is inviting and pleasant. We will stay there again!

I arrived late, around 7pm. I paid online so everything was ready when I got there....no problem with the check-in process. They offered free Wi-Fi, I didn't even have to ask. The room was facing I-20, so it was a little loud at times. If I stay there agian, I will ask for a room on the side away from the interstate. The only strange thing was there were no knobs on the heating/cooling unit when I got to the room. I called down to the desk and someone was up in only minutes to resolve the problem. The room was clean and free of odors. There are many places to eat nearby too. Check out was a breeze too. I wouldn't mind staying there again.

It was a very good location to get to the places I had to go. Very clean rooms and helpful staff.

I was staying three nights for a school interview at nearby Mississippi College. I was not familiar with the area at all and just picked this hotel from other reviews, price, and proximity to MC. There were several other hotels within one complex right off the interstate (I-20). The Quality Inn was the only one that was "motel style" with outdoor entrances to the rooms. This doesn't bother me, but others might prefer a traditional hotel. The room was clean, quiet, and had everything I needed including working TV, phone, alarm clock, hair dryer, coffee pot, refrigerator, and microwave. When I checked in, the staff was extremely friendly and told me to let them know if there was anything I needed during my stay. They served a nice hot breakfast from 6-9am dailyk (biscuits, sausage, gravy, grits, waffles, pastries, cereal, coffee and juice). I even came down around 9:15am one day when breakfast was being cleaned up and the staff brought extra food out for me which had already been put away! My room was cleaned promptly every day with fresh towels replaced. A/C worked beautifully and there was even a ceiling fan which was nice. I didn't spend much time in the room, but when I did, it was pleasant. Not much to do in the area except for the college but I had no other plans! My 3/5 rating is based upon the fact that this hotel was up to my expectations (for the price) and totally acceptable, however it was no frills and nothing special.

I was surprised and happy to see that there was a decent sized mini-fridge and microwave in the room! I never got to use the microwave, but I was able to keep my drinks for the trip nice and cool. The hotel staff was very nice too. My card to get into the room stopped working and they reset it in a snap without any problems. And when it came to getting some rest, the bed was very comfortable!! The pillows were a bit too soft, but I didn't wake up with any pain in my neck. I also missed the free breakfast because I slept in too long. But it was okay since there were plenty of restaurants close by. Overall I enjoyed my stay and would consider going back the next time I go up there.

Being new, this hotel is a great value for the price. Rooms are clean, breakfast was good, facility doesn't feel dated. However, stay away from the queen non-smoking room. It is dinky, tiny. Staff calls it the baby room because of its small size. That was the only negative. We will use this hotel again.
