My last time in Columbus I stayed at the Wingate and after staying at the Holiday Inn; Next time I would go back to the wingate but due to location I may try the Fairfield. Not too impressed with the Holiday inn and from my experience I would have guessed it would have been a Budget Inn

Great Nights Sleep
Check in was quick and easy, room was very spacious. Inside rooms so no windows which was great, no morning light. Bed and pillows were perfect. Best night sleep I have had in a while. Full breakfast was good also. The only negative was the air conditioner made a loud noise went it kick on and off. Would recommend and stay again.

Great Location
We were in town for bereavment and only for one night. We will definitely stay there again. our room was very clean and very comfortable.

Beautiful hotel in a very friendly town
Room was very clean, staff was friendly. only complaint was that the workout room was directly above my guest room and someone was running on the treadmill between 11 pm and 11:30 when I was trying to sleep. This makes me question why the fitness room was placed on the 3rd floor and not on a main floor.

Night club right in the hotel was definately a hot spot in town. Average drink prices and live band made Saturday night a lot of fun without having to drive.

Nice Hotel
Very nice hotel. Not very many rooms, but nice layout. Rooms were a little pricy compared to others in the area, but all others were booked up for the dates we needed. Nice pool area, but a bit small. Bar and attached nite club very nice. All in all, a good experience. Would stay here again, but only if the rates were a little lower.

We got in late and tired, only to open the door to our room and be welcomed by musty, moldy odors. The ceiling clearly had water stains in several places. The carpet was buckled making it very difficult to open and close the bathroom door. Once in, the toilet barely flushed! When we went to check-out, the desk clerk had no record of our reservation or our online payment. She asked what price we booked the room for, then proceeded to take a phone call and asked us to wait...longer! We had our online receipt, so we just left. On a positive note, the beds were very comfortable. Still, that would not be enough reason to stay there again.

Necessary traveler
Mixed feelings
Second time staying here. Everything fine with exception of problem with heat/air. Hotel has both "set" to where it cannot be adjusted. First time we needed heat - would go no higher; second time it was TOO cold - could not turn up. When we complained both times they gave us the runaround about problems with thermostats! With this exception, all else was okay.

Great Experience. The hotel staff was exceptional. Front desk receptionist was a doll. Extremely helpful and very pleasent demeanor
