Now I know - this was a bad choice
Room was dirty - mold in the restroom - carpet was filthy! We slept fully dressed afraid to let our guard down. There were spider webs in every corner - ughh there was a fake eyelash on the bedside table -did not take my luggage inside when I made it home. I would never stay here again. If I could have found another vacancy - I would have left! The mattress felt decades old - lumpy!

An older facility, but the room was clean and fresh. Staff was friendly and helpful. Great value for a comfortable room. All kinds of great food establishments within a mile or so; many easily walkable (which can be a nice change after being on the road all day).

Best bang for the buck
This hotel is an older style with a nice and helpful staff. The rooms were clean and quiet. This hotel is perfect if you are not high maintenance and do not require all the bells, whistles and price of the newer hotels. My wife and I would stay here again if in the area. The fidge and microwave in the rooms were nice also

There is a new Logans steakhouse a few miles from the hotel and Ryans is in the same parking lot as the hotel.

Really good deal for the money.
Yes, it is a bit old, but spotless and clean smelling. Very comfortable bed. Roomy,comfortable room. Girl at check-in was especially helpful and friendly. She had the paperwork ready when I walked in the door. The best I have seen for this price. I would be happy to recommend to family or friends interested in an economical stay without the expensive (and unnecessary) amenities. It fit my needs and expectations very well.

Excellent value for price
I've worked in Columbus off and on for six months and stayed in most of the hotels here. Motel 6 is clean, even in summer, even in the toilets, which puts it in the top 20%. The most important feature to me is internet access, which is unrestricted here. No additional charges. No codes. All rooms have fridge and micro for leftovers.

Friendly staff and CLEAN room!
The staff was very friendly. The room was very clean and smelled nice. Location was close to alot of resturants and the interstate.

Good affordable motel
I stayed for one night because I was visiting Mississippi State University. The motel is good compared to the price I payed.

Convenient
Being there for just a short time and out of the room most of that time, the room was acceptable. The property looked very bad from the outside. My room was clean but could use modernizing. Carpet appeared clean as well as bath and bedding was fresh. Front desk and maid service were pleasant and helpful. Restaurants nearby. Few blocks from Historical downtown. Just wish it didn't look so much like the ghetto when driving in. No pool, and not a pleasant place to sit outside if on an extended stay.

Pretty Good Experience
The shower curtain rod was torn from the wall, hanging by a thread. Water flowed on to the floor making a mess. A wash cloth was found on the rod in the curtain also. Also there was only one bar of soap in the room. This room was clean and quite and I did git a good nites rest.

unbeatable location for the price
dirty sheets and towels in the room, the clerk did exchange them, only stayed one of two nights.
