Not so good, this time
Have stayed here before and it was better. Tried to check in at 3:15PM. There was an empty tour bus out front and the lobby was PACKED with people checking in--didn't have a good feeling about it. [...] Not willing to waste the money, I waited some time, then went back to check in. Was assigned a room, but went there and it wasn't ready; the guy servicing it seemed miffed that the front desk had given me that room. I didn't say anything; just waited in the lobby. My fears about the tour bus were confirmed--lots of "hustle and bustle" in the hotel all evening long; loud basketball court, loud pool area, the room next door was very loud until 11:30PM (I had a 5AM wake up). The West end "security door" is unlocked. The room coffee maker did not work properly (holds hot water in the upper basket recepticle; had to work at it to get coffee in the cup; dangereous, really). The plumbing makes noise when you turn on the shower. Requested late checkout; denied past noon.

Home Away from Home!
I felt so comfortable in the room...The lobby was very welcoming and comfortable. My room was very clean which is always important to me....Some hotels say they have breakfast available but this hotel really set it out for its customers...I was really satisfied. Oh yeah, you may find a hotel nearby cheaper but its really not worth it ..believe me...because in Greenwood, I learned that you get what you pay for...

In town one night on family business. Big room, very clean, very quiet, really good breakfast. Hotel personnel were extremely professional yet friendly and welcoming. Indoor pool looked inviting, but had no time to indulge. Quick and easy access to restaurants and other services. Would recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a quiet, clean room and superior service.
