Not impressed with this property at all.
Problems with the TV, toilet wouldn't flush, and staff was of a non-english speaking ethnic group. I simply do not speak [*].

The Bad,The Bad and The Ugly
Did not have the room I booked. Not like pictures at all. Gave me two regular beds instead of the one king, that I reserved and then charged me $20.00 more for two regular beds that I did not need or want...Could not understand what we were saying (in English). Don't know why I had to pay more because they did not have the room I reserved...then room was dusty.. toilet tank top did not fit... ceiling falling down in bathroom... burns in the sink...lighting awful... parking took up by their cars... no ice in the ice machine...bathroom door won't open all the way because bed was in the way. all in all BAD...

Starting to our trip!
When we first drove up, the entrance looked pretty good, but we got in pretty late, so we didn't go into the lobby itself, but a little room that was pretty scary! I thought we had made a mistake by booking this hotel, but once we got into the room, it was actually a lot better than expected. It was good enough for the price, and if you're looking for a place to crash for the night, then it's good enough for that, but if you're planning on staying for a while, then I suggest staying at one of the other hotels located right around it. It was pretty clean, and it looked like they had done some updating, but needed to do more. Two cool things, although to some it might not be big, but they had an outlet with a 6-plug adaptor which made it great for plugging in our phones, etc. Also, they had an adjustable shower head where you could pick whether you wanted a massage type shower, regular, or whatever, and after driving all day, a massaging shower was absolutely wonderful! Overall, it was good enough for a place to sleep, and the price was right.

Cheap and Good Location
I have stayed at this Days Inn four times because it is affordable and close to everything in downtown Jackson. The service is adequate except during late hours. The rooms are clean but always smell of too much air freshener. I like that each room has a desk and lots of space for hanging clothes. The separate sitting area is also nice because we are usually visiting friends that lie close-by and they can visit with us. I would stay again because I am so familiar with it and I know I can always get a good rate at the last minute.
