As a business traveler, I rarely stay at the expensive hotels. Rather, I look for low-cost, convenience to major arteries, convenience to restaurants, room cleanliness, and warmth of the staff from the desk clerk to the housekeeper. This hotel met all those factors and if I am back in Jackson on business in the future, I'll stay again at this hotel.

Pretty good stay.

"It was better than nothing"
The hotel was a old locatoion that had been painted so it might not look as old. The overall feeling was not clean. You could tell they had done a first layer cleaning for a better look. However,I can tell you it had many more layers that needed cleaning. The air in our room worked well the TV also was in working order. The price was good for a room out of the rain. But, I did not feel like I was in a clean building or room! If I had traveled with children I would not have stayed. It was in a good location for dining.

A Dump!
The room was dark and depressing. I never felt thatit was very clean. The motel was next to an expressway and it was noisy. There was a very questionable man going up and down the halls the last day I was there, yelling at the top of his lungs. It was scary. I would not recomend this motel to anyone.

Good Location
The staff are very friendly as previous travelers have described. Breakfast is fair. The location is great, easy on/off the interstate, close to shopping and excellent restaurants. Very nosy in the morning

AVOID THIS PLACE
The Super 8 Jackson/North is a filthy, disgusting dive. The room reeked of vomit and the bathroom reeked of mildew. Cockroaches present, as well. Alarm left set for 12:30AM. Overall, an awful night. You'd be better off staying in your car. Seriously.

the good and bad of the room
the room smell of smoke, i saw some roches,the coffee pot didn"t work I will not stay at that super 8 again. but the staff was very nice and polite
