Drury Inn and Suites Meridian

Overall experience was good but our room had a mold/mildew smell.

This was our first stay in a Drury Inn and Suites. I enjoyed it and would definitely stay here again. The room was clean and nicely furnished. Snacks in the evening were very appreciated. There was a nice variety of breakfast foods. I liked the location as there were several restaurants surrounding us, and we were able to walk to dinner. I highly recommend this hotel.

I like Drury Inns and have stayed in several. This one was fine except that the cleaning staff didn't have the room in the typical condition. I believe they didn't get the fact that the prior occupant was checking out. He still had clothes in the top drawer, the sheets on one of the beds didn't seem to have been changed and the toilet was dirty. This is probably a one time thing and I didn't feel like reporting it to management. Their breakfasts are not up to the standard of Hamton Inns or HI Express. Other than that it was fine.

Clean, modern and comfortable. We just stopped for the night and left before the free breakfast, but all appeared very nice. I will definitely try them again.

Stayed here while traveling from NC to TX. Nice Hotel and clean rooms. Breakfast was good, even had hot scrambled eggs. Hotel is right next to interstate and our room had a little road noise during the night. Suggest request a room away from interstate. Room was a good value and staff was great.

My husband and I were traveling from the middle part of NC to Houston, Tx to meet with the stem cell transplant team at M.D. Anderson. We usually take the Southern route traveling through New Orleans; however, due to Tropical Storm Lee we had to go North. Because of his leukemia and susceptibity to infections, cleanliness is very important. He tires easily and with low platelets, he can bruise and bleed to death. Comfort and being able to rest in a serene environment are also important. I read reviews for several of the hotels in the area. Everything I read terrified me for his life... Except for Drury Inn. We have stayed at Drury before in Atlanta and were pleased. We were equally pleased in Meridian after being road weary. The front staff greeted us promptly...orienting us to services offered. The room was great. The bathroom was sparkly clean. The sheets on the bed were crispy clean and we slept comfortably in the bed. We are used to a Tempurpedic bed. This bed was a bit firm; nonetheless we slept well. We awoke to a great full hot breakfast. The serving staff was EXCELLENT, Friendly, anticipating every need. God bless them for their caring attitude and friendly service. We will definitely recommend Drury Inn Mississppi to others and have it marked as an itenerary stop on the Northern route when we have to travel to Houston. We also will be looking for Drury Inns elsewhere in our travels due to the impression the breakfast serving staff made on us by their compassion for someone with cancer.

This was one of the best lower budget hotels I've ever stayed in. The extras: pool, breakfast, and happy hour really stretches your dollar during these hard times. I'll be looking for another Drury Hotel next time I book an accommodation.

The bed was firm and slept well, the hotel was quiet, the evening snacks and beverages were excellent. Overall, I will return to this Drury inn again and again.

Our room was very clean and quiet. That afternoon the hotel served popcorn and beverages and in the evening they had a great selection of finger foods and free alcoholic drinks as well as other beverages. There was a great selection of food. The morning we left, the hotel had a free breakfast for the guests. They had hot food as well as cereals and fruit. You really get your money's worth at this hotel. Nearby, there is a mall for shopping.

The hotel was very clean and the staff was very helpful and informative. The free quick meals they provided were delicious. Will definitely stay there again.
