Get what you pay for
This was not a bad hotel for $65. Breakfast and wifi were included, and there's an outdoor pool if the season is right. Staff was friendly and room was clean.

Good for the price
It met my expectations for the price paid. The Cons: There was a dirty washcloth on the bathroom counter that I presume was left by the cleaning staff. We had a hard time getting the TV to work properly in our room. It would lock up on a black screen and take a few minutes to reset itself. Eventually gave up. I had to wait at the front desk for a little while because the staff were outside chatting. Otherwise they were friendly and helpful. Air conditioner unit was loud and didn't cool the room very well. Pros: Good location, close to the interstate, but far enough to not be noisy. Good breakfast. There was yogurt, two waffle makers, muffins, juice (only apple, OJ was out), muffins, bagels, fruit, etc. Free wifi. Fairly cheap price.

My overall experience in this hotel was average, not a great deal. The continental breakfast had only a few simple choices, but it is OK since it's free. About the room cleanliness the hotel needs to improve, because I found a big roach flying around in the bathroom when I was taking a shower. Some towels looked "stained". What I really liked from the hotel was the free internet service, unlike other hotels that charge for this service.

It sucked
This was one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed in. I call it a Hobo Inn. It makes you wonder how a hotel with so many people working can be that filthy McNasty. It was a pet friendly hotel and you could tell because all the carpets were stained. The elevator was covered in stains and dirt and need a good power wash. I almost puked when I say a big pile of dog droppings hidden behind a door, The continental breakfast ran out of waffle mix and they had no other alternatives. The muffin selection was poor and the fruit looked very old and limited. The orange juice was good after the woman changed it out. The sheets at least looked clean, and the Tv was a flat screen and new. The sink was right inside the doorway, it was new and was probably the best thing about the hotel.If I was to visit Meridian again, i would definetly not stay here.

Just a quick stay
I just needed a comfortable room for the night. I got in late and left early. It wasn't five star, but it was satisfactory.

Not the best La Quinta
This was simply a place to sleep during our 14 hour drive to Louisiana. I've been to much cleaner hotels with the same "3 star" rating according to [...]. It was decent, but I've seen better La Quinta's.
