Winter Lodge in Summer

The hotel at best location at Big Sky felt a little bit 'left-ove'r from the last winter season. But large, clean comfortable rooms with kitchenette & fridge. Indoor swimming pool did not invite for (summer) swimming. But outdorr terasse with two nice hot-tubs. Service is friendly, but a bit incompetent. Breakfast is availble in the main hall. Nice place also in summer for all kind of outdoor activities: Biking, hiking, adventure park... Was good value for the price (and a good starting point for Yellowstone Park coming from the North).

Incredible place, the best 4 Yellowstone

Big Sky is an incredible ski town on winter and awesome hiking place for summer really close to yellowstone national park. If you're planning to visit the area I recommend this hotel and town over staying at Jackson Hole. A lot prettier and quiet!!!! An undiscovered diamond! Staff is super friendly, rooms are great and the value is just unbelivable.

Nice hotel

Hotel was nice but hard to find. Website needs to tell travelers that GPS does not work! Arrived late and no signs from main road either. Most food places not open. Rooms nice & comfortable though.

We will definitely be back!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. The beds were comfortable, the people were nice and very helpful. We went there to relax and were so glad we chose this hotel! The views were breathtaking, the scenery was fantastic, the air was clean, the weather was perfect, the hotel was quiet. Everything in our room worked and was relatively new. The complimentary breakfast was good -- not great but good with a reasonable variety of food to choose from. We plan to go back and stay in the same hotel again.

Dining tip: Short drive from hotel

Several of the best casual, inexpensive local places to eat were down the mountain about 7 or 8 miles in the "meadow" shopping area. There is also a nice little store there.

Beautiful drive to a great hotel!

Great place to go if you don't mind the drive. The scenery was fabulous on the way there. It is a little far from Yellowstone but it was worth it. Clean room and friendly staff. Would go back! Great price too.
