Location to Downtown Bozeman

We have stayed at the Magnuson several times while visiting our daughter at MSU. This is the best location to be able to walk to campus and to downtown Bozeman. Park the car and walk! The room was just fine, nothing special. Clean, quiet, helpful staff. The chlorine smell from the pool permeates the entire hotel. You get used to it! The only negative is the attached restaurant. The service was glacial speed. But, that just forced us to find several great breakfast restaurants down Main Street!

Great Experience

For my money, I liked the Magnuson Grand City Center. The rooms were spacious and clean. Everything else from the cookies at the front desk (amazing) and the attached restaurant/casino exceeded expectations for a motel in Bozeman. Perfect location in the downtown area in walking distance to cool shops. Thanks again.

Great Surprise!

At the risk of this place becoming popular and us not being able to get a room again. We loved it. Nice personel, good food in steak house and huge clean room.

Central Bozeman Gem

We were skeptical when we booked the room but it was a last-minute situation. Turns out the property has just been completely remodeled and looks better than many of the more expensive places much farther from downtown, e.g. near the Interstate. Room was huge, even had a leather couch. Cookies at the check-in counter! Downtown Bozeman is a great place for food and shopping so the hotel location is a big bonus.

Magnuson Grand City Center Hotel

The rooms had just been remodeled and were very clean. We were upgraded to a Queen Suite and there was a refrigerator in the room and lots and lots of room! When you check in they have cookies as well.

Good and not so much

Facility and room were clean though the hallway carpet showed some wear. The massive problem was with the room key cards. I made 3 or 4 separate trips to the front desk for replacements so could get to my room on the second floor.

Magnuson Grand City Center is pleasant

The hotel is in a great location--easy to get around. It was quiet. Very good cookies are offered free in the evenings. There are plenty of places to eat nearby. Not all the rooms in the hotel get wifi, but they have ethernet cords for those who need them.
