Discount at restaurant in same building, with good selection - or free continental breakfast. Nothing stands out as a negative. Our room on the second floor was quiet and comfortable.

The rooms are clean and comfortable. Perkins, in the hotel, offered an easy meal without having to go out and find a restaurant. The buffet breakfast was among the best I've found.

Hotel arranged for four rooms across and down hall on same floor. We got together for the breakfast (very tasty) and all liked our rooms. The staff was so kind and accomodating. We highly recommend--clean, convenient, and not too high a cost.

Good Location and Price

I found the location of the hotel was very good. People at the desk were friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and I liked the separate table to spread out my work documents. The breakfast area was tidy and the food was very good.

Nice hotel - HVAC system needs checking

  • John
  • 12 May 2007
Overall I was very pleased with the location, amenities offered at the hotel and surrounding support services located nearby. The only problem we encountered was a strange smell when we first checked in, a mustiness like the room had been sitting vacant for a long time. Once we got the AC working, using fresh air from the outside, the odor went away. My daughter continued to suffer from some sort of allergy the rest of the night. I really don't know whether her allergies were related to the room or not. I'd definitely stay here again if i come through Montana.

Aging, but adequate

  • Pauline
  • 5 Apr 2011
We picked the Copper King because it was the best deal we could find on short notice. The room was clean and comfortable enough, but showed a lot of wear and tear. There was a karaoke contest going on in the facility that night, so it was really noisy until the wee hours of the morning. Also, the cafe where we were supposed to get our free menu breakfast was short-handed so after waiting for ten minutes for a server to even show up at our table, we had to leave because we were pressed for time. All in all, our stay was okay, but certainly not great.

SCARY START....NICE ENDING

  • Auntie Grappler
  • 4 Jul 2011
The property was nice and the rooms were spacious. The toilet was broken, so front desk let us use another room and took off half the price. The breakfast buffet was very good...I would stay again because the front desk/manager understood the bathroom issue was a major problem...overall would stay again.

Fairly clean, nice place for one night.

  • Lucky
  • 22 Mar 2011
Very easy to find, even with road construction going on. The room (and bathroom) was clean. Heater worked great! Shower didn't have much for water pressure. The door could have sealed better, as you could hear everything going on out in the hallway. The continental breakfast was over by 930am, but did not know that until the morning of, as there were no signs, and no one told us on checkin. But that was ok, as there are many food choices near motel. Overall, much better than I was expecting in Butte.

Will Never Stay There Again

  • Diane
  • 11 May 2008
Eddy's Motel was not what I expected. The room was not cozy, it was either way too hot or way too cold in the room, never comfortable. The remote to the TV they gave me didn't work. I couldn't run the shower without having the smoke alarms go off. The room smelled musty and moldy. No room service ever came to change sheets, towels, trash, etc. I would NOT recommend this motel to ANYONE. The only thing that was nice about this place was seeing the mountains across the way.

  • 7 Mar 2010
Our experience was not good from the beginning of our stay. I had booked the reservation four months ago and the day before our arrival, I tried to change the reservation from 2 rooms for 3 days to 1 room for 2 days and 1 room for 3 days. (2 different families were using the rooms.) I called @ 5:45pm the day before our arrival and was told I missed the 4pm 24-hour cutoff time [...]Upon our arrival, I learned that [...] let the other family check in on my reservation and he hoped that would be okay! (It was but made me angry he was okay with bending that policy!) The breakfast was marginal in a very cramped room that lasted until about 9:15. The maid staff took our bath mat and did not replace it - We just used an extra towel. I had to ask on the 2nd morning for the cream/sugar packet for the coffee. We were given more coffee but not the extras. We will drive the extra miles to Anaconda or Bozeman or Deer Lodge if the Days Inn Butte is our only hotel choice.

A fine experience

  • Karen H
  • 30 Mar 2011
The hotel was good for the price! Very clean and quiet. The pillows were pretty flat and hard, but we had brought along our own. The blanket was very scratchy to the touch. However, the room was spacious and the front desk was polite. No real complaints for a one-night stay. TAKE NOTE: If you use a GPS, it will lead you onto some back roads. Instead, take exit 122 to Rocker, you can see it from the road.
