Incredible Handicapped facility
Although I myself am not handicapped, I was very impressed with the thought and conderation this hotel devoted to those issues, right down to bath seating and dorr viewers at wheelchair height. This was the first time I have ever experienced too much bedding on a bed! Great stuff! The rooms were a bit noisy and the late night staff especially were noisly themselves. Other than that, I was very impressed with the facility itself.

Best shopping in Helena is downtown for an eclectic and fun experience, unfortunately this hotel is a longish and complicated drive to downtown Helena due to it's location on a one way. Use your GPS if you are unfamiliar with the area.

This is the third hotel that upon checkin the attitude of the front desk changed. Orbitz needs to address this. The male staff member who checked me in was rude. The room was updated with noise off the highway. For Montana, this was a great room.

Name Change
The hotel is no longer a Holiday Inn Express. I had to call the phone number because I was looking for the Holiday Inn sign and it is gone. It is now a La Quinta Inn and Suites and is in the middle of renovating the entire hotel. It is definitely a construction zone, but the workmen left about 5 o'clock and it was quiet at night. My room was newly redecorated and very comfortable. It is located just off a one way street so you have to circle around to get to and from it. The breakfast selections were very good and the eating area was clean and well taken care of.

Check out the way to navigate into and out of the hotel before you get there because if you aren't careful you will be shunted onto I-15 and on your way to Butte before you know it.
