Great Night's Rest
The hotel was great. Clean rooms with a great tv. The bed was amazing, incredibly soft. I slept like a baby. I only wish there weren't quite so many people hanging out at the pool. There were loads of kids there and that was the one thing I avoided. Breakfast had pretty good variety to choose from.

A good stay
We wanted a room for one night, we wanted something pretty nice, but we didn't want to spend large sums of money to get it. We chose the Hawthorn based on reviews, knowing that we needed to "temper" some of the previous comments. We were delighted with the decision and enjoyed our stay. The location was a bit out of our activity area, but it wasn't that difficult to get around. Yes there is a Harley dealership near and we did hear a Harley revving on Sunday morning. It really wasn't that bad and didn't spoil our morning. Yes there were trains along the tracks, but we kind of like that, and it wasn't loud by any means. Soundproofing between rooms in modern motels leaves a little to be desired, but again, it didn't spoil anything for us. The room was spotless clean, the bed comfortable, the room nicely appointed. Everything worked. Breakfast was pretty much OK. There was a bit of choice and not a plastic wrapped donut in sight. Summer might well have too many Harley's around, but we had a great weekend retreat.

Try Sean Kelly's Irish Pub. Good number of choices, friendly. And what a nice old school stained glass panels along the back bar.

Great Girls Getaway
The staff was very friendly and helpful. Rooms are spacious, comfy, and clean. The only downside was the pool and workout room both closed at 10.

Hawthorne Hotel Missoula, MT
Very clean room; attentive staff; spacious. There was free Internet and hot breakfast included with the stay.

Clean and Quiet
The hotel was close to the airport yet just a "hop" away from downtown. It very neat and clean. The boys loved the pool and hot tub. The staff was very helpful and extremely friendly.

comfy and quiet
We had never been to Missoula before and went to see a body building competition on campus. The hotel was close enough to down town to be a short drive but far enough away to be really quiet and not too busy. The hotel was clean and comfortable. I was very impressed by the room I got for the very reasonable price it was offerred at.

Great Room, Perfect Hotel for Bikers
This hotel seems to be preferred by Bikers. If you don't like the noise of a Harley at midnight, this is not a good location for you. Also this hotel is close to the ariprort, which means its not downtown.
