Val U Inn

I didn't look at this hotel on my first search probably because of the name. As it turns out, it was a small chain of hotels. Everything I read on the web site was accurate and we had a nice quiet stay in a clean and newly refurbished hotel. Would recommend.

Great breakfast, clean rooms, quiet, great front desk people, very helpful and kind!

Great place to stay. Very clean. A short walk to the mall for shopping. Can drive or walk to restaurants. Reasonable rates.

It was all good not much, daughter did alot of shopping.

THis hotel is quite a find, especially if you are planning on seeing the campus of the University of Montana...nearby. I cannot say enough about the friendly staff at this hotel. No question was left unanswered and then some! Anything that you need they can and will help you with! The room was very clean and the hotel and grounds were spotless!

The Val-u-Inn is a cut above most motels in its moderate price class. This starts at the reception desk, where a tray of fresh baked cookies were set out for guests. The room had two comfortable queen beds, a sitting chair, a large TV (about 27 I think), and a desk and chair. There is no closet, just a small armoire. The sink is outside the small bathroom, so that's not quiet to use when someone is asleep in the room, but it does mean you can use the sink while someone is in the bathroom. The continental breakfast had make-your-own waffles, cereals, yogurt, juice, coffee and other standard cold buffet items. The room was quite small and crowded for the size of the motel, about 100 rooms. The motel is located next to the main shopping mall in Missoula, and only a couple miles from downtown. There were restaurants within a block of the motel, but the best ones are downtown.l

The room was very comfortable and had a refrigerator and microwave. Everything was in order and well-cleaned. The staff were very helpful in telling us where things in Missoula were located and giving suggestions for activities in the area. The highlight of the stay is their continental breakfast. Lots of great choices, but what makes it a cut above the rest is the two self-serve waffle makers. This was the best hotel breakfast that I've ever had! The location is not great, but everything is only a short drive away.

After driving for 460 miles I was tired hungry and did not want to put up with problems getting to my room cleaning up and going out to dinner early. I arrived was treated very nicely and registered without a problem and told where to get something to eat within walking distance and they included some coupons to sve me some money. I had a great stay and yes I would recomend this motel and I will stay there again if I go thru Missoula again.

Staff was friendly and very accomodating to our wishes on check-in. Room was tastelfully decorated, modern, good sized well-kept and comfortable. Location in Missoula was ideal to our needs and in a safe, nice area. Checkout was quick and well done. Really liked the experience and will stay there on our next trip to Missoula.
