Location, Location, CLEANLINESS!!
We selected the Baymont due to its proximity to the Biltmore as well as its price (the Biltmore Inn was three times the price!) but were really impressed once we arrived by the cleanliness and amenities they had to offer (we've walked out of more than one hotel when the rooms were not "up to snuff"). Lovely bed linens and comfy beds. Clean and well-maintained. We truly felt like we were the first persons to ever stay in our room (my measuring stick for all hotels).

Great stay
I was in town for the night and needed a peaceful retreat for a stressful exam the next morning. The hotel was easy to find and right off the highway. The room was very comfortable and clean. I had forgotten my toothbrush and toothpaste and the hotel staff provided both, as well as directions to a nearby grocery. Great value.

Weekend Getaway
Overall, the hotel is a good value. The breakfast is great for a free hotel breakfast with waffles, fruit, fruit juices, cereal, bagels, toast, coffee, tea, etc. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The biggest complaint that I have about the room was that the bed felt/sounded like it had a plastic sheet on it under the regular sheets. The room had a microwave and fridge which was nice. There were a lot of people there the weekend that we stayed and the rooms stayed quiet, which is a big plus. I would recommend this to a friend.

Dining tip:
Short drive from hotel
There are some great restaurants in downtown Asheville. One of my favorites is Laughing Seed on Wall St. It is an all vegetarian restaurant with great food.

Biltmore and visiting classmate
The only bad thing was that we didn't have time to swim and relax in the beautiful room. The rooms and the whole hotel was very nice and elegant.

If you go to the Biltmore plan on a day. We were there all day and didn't see all the things on the property. The hotel advertised discount tickets too. We had a friend that had free tickets so not sure how much the hotels were.

Good and Bad
Traveling alone to visit with Family and Friends for the weekend. Pro's : GREAT Location only 5-10 mins away from anything in Asheville. Easy I-40 access on and off. Lots of Restaurants nearby. Bed was very comfy, room was clean. Free WiFi is always nice. Con's :King size room was SMALL. Bathroom was merely closet size with a shower. Sink was outside of bathroom. Hotel walls EXTREMLY thin. I could hear the person next door passing gas, belching , on the phone with his family and of course the television. 2nd night there was a repeat but had what sounded like a day care on the other side of the wall on opposite side. No rest at all. Hotel pool is really really chlorinated. To the point it burns your eyes just being in there. Hotel staff not the friendliest but they serve the purpose. I would stay here again, but be sure to get a corner room
