perfectly fine for a few nights
This hotel was perfectly fine for a few nights, especially considering the price. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and our room was clean and comfortable. It's definitely not a luxurious hotel but it was safe, comfortable and clean, which are the most important things to me. I'd stay there again.

Dining tip:
Short drive from hotel
We went to Waking Life Espresso for coffee, which is a short drive up the road in a little house that's been converted into a shop. It would be a nice, comfortable place to get some work done or to enjoy some great coffee.

OK place for the money.
We needed a place to stay when our camper broke down and decided to stay here. It was OK for the price. Since they allow pets we could smell the underlying pet odor. The rooms were modestly furnished and the wireless worked great. There is a safe in the room and refrigerator. Located just off the expressway. Front desk person was nice. A lot of families with pets stayed here.

Comfortable, needs some updating
Hotel was comfortable and safe. The furnishing, comforters, pillows, chair in the room were looking a little beaten and old. The hotel was a decent value for the price.

Perfectly clean and fresh, no frills.
This is an excellent low cost option when staying in Asheville, NC visiting our daughter in West Asheville. Clean, fresh appeared to be recently remodeled.

Surprisingly Fabulous
We were not expecting much from the hotel since it was a budget hotel, but we were completely impressed by the cleanliness, fresh design, and incredibly friendly staff. This hotel exceeded our expectations for a hotel most would write off as a cheap/budget hotel. If your goal is a nice, clean place to sleep with amenities one does not normally expect or get from a budget hotel, then Red Roof Inn West Asheville is a great choice. We recommend it.

Good location, good value
My husband and I stayed at the Red Roof Inn in Asheville while attending a friend's wedding. The room was clean and quiet, and the staff was friendly. We did a lot of price shopping, and this was defininately the best value for our money. I will stay here again the next time I visit Asheville.
