perfect for overnight stop
This Courtyard Marriott is convenient to Charlotte airport and offers free shuttle service on the half hour. Nice workout facility, including cardio and weights, hot-tub, and small pool. Comfortable beds. Restaurant open until 10 pm for late arrival food. Front desk and shuttle driver were courteous and prompt. Just right for when you have an overnight layover in Charlotte. Of course, you do hear flight traffic, but, hey, you're practically at the airport.

Love the expansion of this facility! We stayed in the older wing, but I did go through the halls of the newer areas. They are nice! Maybe just some new carpet in the older areas and the older elevator are needed. Overall, enjoyed the stay. This was our 3rd time staying there. Easy to find and get into town from.

travelers don't always want to have to leave to eat
I was not aware there were certain hours food would be available from the restaurant, and I would not classify The Bristo as a restaurant since it has a limited selection of food. I wasn't offered the list delivery food list and list of outside food sources until I requested if they had one. I am also allergic to down and could only get one pillow the first night and two more the second. I was ready to checkout due to the food situation and pillow situation. Staff was very friendly.

We love this hotel. We have stayed here three times now and the service has been consistent. Clean rooms, helpful staff and good breakfast.

CLEAN CLEAN CLEAN!!
I will say I have been pleased with Marroit properties in general,however this Court Yard property is exceptional. VERY VERY CLEAN. We arrived late, 9:30 PM, and having arrived from the west coast we were hungry for dinner. The staff offered us all the local options, which were few, and even offered to drive us to the local steak house before they closed at 10:00. We opted to stay and have a sandwich there and were satisfied.
