Residence Inn by Marriott Charlotte Uptown

This hotel is very well located, and it is very pretty. The room was spacious and clean. The front desk woman was fantastic: super friendly and helpful. I am sorry I did not ask for her name, but I appreciate her help. She gave me a room with the best view ever of the city skyline. Besides, the breakfast was pretty good. This is not the cheapest hotel ever, but I thought it was a good value for the money I paid. Thank you.

IT was really good. Great staff. The room had everything you needed including the kitchen sink.

Some specifics 1. The beds have 5 pillows each, ranging from synthetic firm to squishy down, in an attempt to address all tastes. Rooms also have refrigerators, stoves, microwaves if you prefer to cook inside. 2. The shuttle drivers were extremely pleasant, never making you feel as though you were an inconvenience. 3. The business center in the lobby has free internet access and printing, which was extremely convenient for printing boarding passes. 4. The free breakfast also appeals to all tastes and preferences. From Eggs/sausage to yogurt and granola. 5. Fun: toured Panther stadium. Our guide Pat was a crack-up, just don't mention the love of her life, Joe Namath. US national Whitewater center is affordable and fun. The walkable Brevard Court is an awesome place to grab a beer or watch a game. 6. Downstairs bar and lounging area is clean and comfortable. We were in town with a bunch of family for a wedding. This hotel worked perfectly. The hotel staff truly could not have been nicer.

best location to the stadium--in walking distance. Been there before and enjoyed it.

Was in Charlotte for a convention, so I was walking or taking the very convenient shuttle to the convention center every day. It's about 4 blocks - never felt unsafe when walking. Hotel is a bit isolated if you want to be in the middle of restaurants, bars and other hotels, though. The morning breakfast buffet is terrific and very fresh. The evening complimentary happy hour is great also - but don't expect to make it a meal. Staff was very friendly; room was clean and comfortable.

I took my girlfriend to Charlotte for a Bobcats game. She had never been to a professional game and I surprised her with tickets for Christmas. Charlotte was beautiful and the people we truly a pleasure to be around. Everything the town has to offer is within walking distance of the hotel. The hotel is very clean and the staff is very friendly and nice. They have several social events at the hotel, and a very reliable shuttle service. I sincerely recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the Charlotte area.

The hotel was perfect for my needs as a single woman staying alone for business. It was clean and the staff was lovely.

This hotel was is the best location, a block from bank of america stadium and walking distance to the bars, they even had a free shuttle to take you to the bars or anywhere, the front desk staff was some of the best I have ever encountered, after my stay at this hotels I specifically look for Marriotts to stay at , and they offered free beer and wine at the hotel bar from 5pm- 730pm monday thru thursday

i was there for a football game. the staff was perfect. rooms were clean. location was great.

I went to a conference and I stayed at the Residence Inn. I enjoyed my time at the hotel. Everyone was really nice and especially the shuttle driver.
