Staybridge Suites CHARLOTTE-ARROWOOD

This was our first trip with my mother in law.Thanks to Staybridge Suites it was great.The suite had plenty of room for all to have their own space.My mother in law is a strict vegatarian.Breakfast buffet was perfect for her tastes and ours.No special requests needed to accommadate her special diet. The staff was very professional and made us feel right at home.The BridgeMart is a nice touch.The prices are reasonable.Open 24 / 7 makes it even better.We are looking forward to our next stay.Keep up the good work folks !!!!

Staybridge was convenient and provided a good overall value. I love that it has the mini-kitchen. The only issue I had was that the room I was in need of a thorough cleaning. The floors needed to be scrubbed even in the closet as there was dust and tiny debris. Shelves, drawers etc. had remnants from previous guests. These places should be cleaned spotless for the next guest. The entire bathroom from top to bottom (not just the tub) including the commode should be scrubbed shiny clean and it was not. We were also promised clean towels daily and one day all towels were not replaced. Bath floor mat was also not replaced daily, which I think should be. I also noticed one of the towels was not clean white. If a towel is not clean white it should not be put out. Fix these issues and I would give it 4 stars.

Even though I reserved a non-smoking room, the hotel only had smoking rooms when I arrived. In addition to the stink, there were cigarette burns and stains on all of the furniture and the bath tub, Gross! I've stayed in the hotel numerous times and it gets worse with each stay. It's time to move on.

Stayed here during family trip to Carowinds. The room was clean, presented as advertised. The hotel staff were gracious and accomodating. My family enjoyed the breakfast provided every morning and the pool and fitness room. I will stay at this hotel again and will recommend it to my friends.

It was not a good experience. We were in Charlotte to go to the Carowinds Amusement Park. The hotel was dirty. Breakfast was inedible. The breakfast staff, especially one person named [...], was rude to my daughter. We stayed at this hotel in the past and this time it was really run down. We weren't expecting the Waldorf, but were expecting it to be clean and not smell. Awful. I will not be returning again.

good near many food places

We are considering re-locating to the Charlotte area and chose Staybridge because it looked like a nice place to stay with good-size suites and several amenities including a delicious warm/cold complimentary breakfast. When we got there, there was a minor issue with our suite because of a hailstorm and a big insurance conference going on at the same time. The wonderful staff at Staybridge was more than accomodating and truly sorry for the inconvenience. They made up for it by giving us a suite next door for one night and did not charge us. Everyone at Staybridge was more than helpful and very friendly ! Also, it is a very clean, quiet place and centrally located to many tourist attractions, shopping and parks. I would HIGHLY recommend the Staybridge Suites for either one night or a week or so. LOVED it !!!

I was unfortunate to get a ground floor room. The walls are paper thin and the floor above me was noisy. I awoke each morning to the thunderous herd walking above my room. Internet failed when it rained. They have a coffee maker in the room. Only decaffenated coffee in the packets. Probably good for po'folks with kids. Not for business people.

We were in town attending the RV Show at the Convention Center and wanted a hotel that was close and had breakfast. The downtown area was a short 8 miles away and easy to get to. We had a breakfast that had a great variety of choices. We wound have spent 15 to 20 dollars more a day if we had to eat out. The room was a one bedroom suite. Clean and not run down. One problem with the room was it was on the courtyard pool area of the building and the lights from that came into the room at night. The window cover that they had is to thin to block the light. We were only here for 2 nights but if we need to stay longer it would be a great place to stay. They have washers and dryers, storage rooms and exercise equipment' They need to clean the elevator doors. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Overall it was a clean, reasonably price, well equipped and a great location.
