Buyer Beware
First - beware of what you are getting for that cheap rate. We didn't know we had signed up for an ADA (handicap-accessible) room. We probably would have passed on that as the room was oddly shaped. Second - the room needed updating. The bed spread was worn - had little fuzzies on them. The television was very old school and the cabinet that it was housed in was old. Third - the hotel lobby had a lot of unused space. It was uninviting. The bar cabinets were old and need changing. The breakfast was pretty non-existent. This is my first time staying at a Four Points. If this is indicative of the others, not only am I surprised, but I will never stay at a Four Points again

Short drive from hotel
The mall is right down the street and they have a couple of good eating places close by. The hotel is in a really good location - right off the highway and close to shopping

Location
I had to train for a marathon and do 20 miles Sunday morning. The Sheraton was close to where I had to run and the staff were very good. They even brought my girlfriend a vase for a rose she received at dinner Saturday night. Very considerate. Thanks

Pleasant and convenient
We arrived to a quiet reception area. The front desk manager was very professional and accommodating. Our room was clean, comfortable and quiet - everything we look for in a hotel room. The 12pm checkout was a great help, because we were planning on a busy night.

NC Trip September 2010
This is a very nice hotel and we got it on-line at a great price! The waterfall in the lobby is immediately soothing after an 8 hour drive from Philly. The location is perfect for exploring the Durham-Chapel Hill area. There is a continental breakfast until 9:30am(weekdays)with coffee in the morning which worked out great for sleeping in a bit. Just down the road there is a great outdoor mall with nice restaurants and bars.

Nightlife tip:
Short walk from hotel
Don't just stay in the hotel lobby for drinks...go down to the Streets of Southpoint Mall (maybe a mile) and check out Rockfish, Champps, Cheesecake Factory, etc!

Great Hotel
The hotel is beautiful with a contemporary fountain in the lobby. Each floor overlooks the lobby as does the elevator. The rooms were a good size and clean. A newspaper is placed at your door every morning. The staff is friendly and helpful, for instance, they ran off directions from Google map when needed. I was able to use the business center room to print out copies of our boarding passes. The only issues I have, which are minor, is that breakfast ends at 9:30 am, and the continental breakfast is limited. A full breakfast is also offered, but the menu has limited choices. This is the only reason I didn't give this hotel a 5 star rating.

Dining tip:
Short drive from hotel
There is a strip mall within walking distance of the hotel (down Rennaissance) with a few casual places to eat. But if you drive about another mile or 2 down the road, there is much much more....including a large mall and a few more stip malls.

Birthday Party
The hotel lobby was very nice. The bed was confortable. There were only two pillows on the bed. One free bottle of water. When asked for pillows, one was delivered. It wasn't worth the effort at that point. No chair to sit in other than desk chair.
