Simple: just what I needed
Excellent! I'm a man with simple needs- clean room, quiet, friendly staff, a quick way in and out. I couldn't ask for better if I were staying with family!

Convenient and reasonable
We visit family in Durham 2 or 3 times per year and always stay here. It is convenient for us and reasonably priced. The rooms have always been clean. Staff is friendly. They only have an outdoor pool and no hot tub. Breakfast os OK, standard for H.I Express (I like their cinnemon buns).

Clean/ good location/ good price
We booked this just as an overnight after the Duke basketball game. The hotel was clean and well maintained. Our room was quite comfortable and very clean. Breakfast was tasty! We have reservations to stay here again and look forward to it.

Good location
This hotel was in a great location. A 5 minute drive from Downtown Durham, close to Duke University and a 15 minute drive to Chapel Hill. The check in and check out was quick, room was clean and sufficient with a flat screen tv and king size bed. We attended a Duke Basketball game and visited downtown Durham for some great food and experienced Chapel Hill also. If you need a place to stay for a few nights that is convenient and clean, this is the hotel for you!

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. Unfortunately there is not a fitness center at this hotel. The complimentary breakfast was not very satisfying.
